Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue will be spending her Christmas holidays with "Doctor Who."
The BBC announced Minogue will play a major role in "Voyage of the Damned," the latest "Doctor Who" Christmas special.
Filming on the "Doctor Who" Christmas special begins this month and the episode will air on BBC One in December 2007, which means it will probably find its way to American audiences on the Sci Fi Channel some time in the distant future.
The BBC says that the special will pick up with the shocking end to the third series, a series that has yet to premiere in the United States. The show's fourth series have been slated for a spring 2008 U.K. premiere.
