What's the first movie of the season that comes on TV that you watch. Mine's usually the original, Dr. Seuss's "How The Grinch Stole Christmas"
It's always something different each year.
- A Peanuts Christmas
- A white Christmas
- Muppets Christmas Carol
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas
And many others. But we get to each and everyone sometime!

I think the earliest Christmas show on that I see is Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer. I think is comes on early December. Then there is the classic A Christmas Story with the kid wanting the Red Ryder BB gun.
"You'll shoot your eye out kid"

TMC is playing A Christmas Story on 11-24 this year. However I don't think every cable company gives TMC with basic cable.
I am very thankful that Time Warner does in my area.

If I remember last year correctly A Christmas Story was probably the most often repeated holiday listing. I remember flipping channels on Thanksgiving Day or the day after and seeing it on three or four channels.
For me, though, that movie is one you just gotta have. Even if I have it on for just background noise it gets laughs. I remember last year working with my little girls on coloring books and hearing them say in concert with the video "you'll shoot your eye out, you'll shoot your eye out!".

I remember one year they had that movie on for 24 hours straight. They played it over and over and over again in case you missed the first 11 times you could still see it.
