Merry Christmas from Tennessee

Hello, and Merry Christmas!! My name is Dawn and I live in Dover, TN. I love Christmas, as I am sure all of you do too. I wish the season would be in the hearts of all, year round. It looks like there's a wonderful start here!!

I have 2 girls, one is almost 21 and the other is almost 15. I am disabled, so I stay home and take care of the family. Dear Hubby and I have been married for 15 years, this month. It seems just like yesterday, and I wouldn't change a thing.

I love to decorate for the holidays, and of course, especially Christmas. I love to read, play in the flower gardens, plastic canvas, cross stitch, and be with family and friends.

I hope to get to know alot of you here, and swap ideas and traditions too.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that! I will send you big sunshine smiles. Hopefully that will help. We were suppose to have rain, for the past 2 weeks, but it always seems to miss us. My poor flowers are wilting terribly!! lol

You're totally right about the good book and hot chocolate - we never need an excuse!!!!!! :lol:

I would like to point out, however that you would, I promise you, get sick of rain if you lived in Scotland and not Philidelphia. It's not a one-off event; it's a permanent state of existence!!! People come here for the rain. That's what they do!!!!!!

Granted - ruins seem to look better in the rain.................

Maureen, what a gorgeous picture!! We are getting the storms that they said we would. Haven't been able to stay online that much in the past couple of days. I don't take any chances with the computer, and shut down, when the storms start. I would love to visit there. The ruins are outstanding! Is this near you?
