View Full Version : Unbelieveable surprise today!

OK - you are never going to believe this! Just for funzies - I dragged out my old paperwork and found a letter that allowed me to sit for the counselor licensure exam dated 2000. I never took the test because I had a baby soon thereafter. So - I just hung onto the letter. But, then I got to thinking about what they told me yesterday and how they said that I needed to have more hours and to have taken the test by 1998. WEll, that didn't jive with the fact that they already sent me a letter in 2000. So, I called and spoke to the same girl. She put me on hold for 10 minutes and then came back and told me that she found my file (which last week she said they had no record of me...curious, huh?)...and that she sees the letter that I'm talking about and that I am eligible and she will mail me a new PCLE eligibility letter. I will say that God works in mysterious ways. I was and am prepared to accept the plan he has for me however curly q-ed it may be....
Just had to tell someone.

I just know the studying will be battling for my Christmas prep time. I always kick it into high gear for 12/25 around late Aug. I think I will be seriously following a schedule of sorts. I may even write it out..what do you think?

What a relief for you! You're more polite than I am, I'd be demanding answers from her supervisor as to how the error was made in the first place. You shouldn't have gone through such worry. Still, you have the good news to focus on now.

Remember when you're studying for the exam and your brain gets a bit tired, stop - take a wee break and share some Christmas cheer and you'll be ready to tackle it again.

The next "good news" post I want to hear from you is "I passed! It's official!"
