The title says it all!!
I just cant believe it will nearly be that time of year again.:)
We are almost approaching August and I haven't even got my head around where this year has gone too yet?!!!
Before long we'll be seeing Halloween stuff in the shops and the next thing we know they will be putting the Christmas decorations out.
Im planning on putting more lights outside this year, front and back. Im also thinking about having a really big family party, which we have never really attempted before.
My daughter was wearing her xmas hat yesterday and asking me to draw snowmen,....in this heat!!!!! lol

Kelly Ann -- you and your daughter are my kind of people! It is so much fun to discover those first early signs of the holidays!!
Today -- this very day -- I was in Wal-Mart -- and I wondered if they had any Halloween fabric yet. They did! Lots! Just put in with the regular fabric. And it looked like one kind -- a Charlie Brown Halloween fabri -- had already sold lots! It was very exciting to see. And I have been trying to think of things to do with the fabric -- so I can go back and get some. (I am trying to DEclutter - so i try to think hard before I bring in something new.)

We have already recieved a lot of our Christmas items at my place of work. The Christmas dept is already in full gear planning and sorting. It won't be long until we start getting the displays and trees ready as it takes awhile to get everything decorated. I have been in Christmas mode for a couple of weeks now...

I can't believe how quickly this year has just flown past. I've already seen some Halloween stuff in some local stores. Nothing major, but it's there so I know the season can't be far behind!

I totally agree..I can't believe it's almost August!!! The stores here are starting to get out the halloween candy. Has anyone seen the commercial (I think it's Odd Lots) that is set in Santa's workshop ~ Christmas music is playing & the elves are asking Santa why they are making things in the workshop this time of year? It's a back to school commercial. I just love it...I saw it a couple times today. It threw me off guard the 1st time I heard the Christmas music on tv!!! :D

Seems you are bringing that child up right. Yes CHRISTmas is just around the corner, I am so excited. The CHRISTmas ringtones are blasting from my phone. I am getting strange looks when my phone rings, I guess they just don't understand.
Holiday, that is a commercial for Big Lots.

From this point on time seems to really fly. I just ordered some new ornaments and will have to get started on this year's holiday projects in the next few weeks.

Here in the Philippines, Halloween isnt much of a deal(though a lot go to the cemetary Oct.30-Nov. 1)... Christmas decors here starts popping as early as September, esp. malls. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

When I was younger, I never believed when people told me the years would go by faster as you got older. Well, they were right cheesy.
I was at my local Six Flags park yesterday, and they had a few items set up to advertise Fright Fest. It's hard to believe that Halloween is just around the corner.

Judesmama -- thank you for the heads up about A.C.Moore putting out Halloween things. I will save that for a time when I really need a lift, and then go spend some time enjoying the HALLOWEEN THINGS.

It really is hard to believe that the year has gone by so fast! I've already been in Canada for two months almost, and it seems like I just got here yesterday! I noticed at Walmart this evening that they're clearing all the lawn & garden items out, and in the pet section they have stocked lots of cold-weather coats for dogs :)

I'm excited too. Although the last couple of days were the hottest days of the year so its difficult for me to get into the Xmas mood. But I did!!!!

I am so excited - I start my own personal countdown once I get my ornaments at the Ornament Premiere at Hallmark in Early July!

I was talking to my aunty today and she happened to mention that Harrods in London will be putting the Christmas decorations up soon. Apparently they always put them up this time of year??
I'm patiently waiting for the season to officially begin. I've seen a few Halloween decorations and well as Christmas stuff already in stores. I don't decorate for Halloween (I do Fall) though. However I have picked up a few Christmas items - mostly for gifts that I'm making.
