A few weeks ago I happened to find this gorgeous book on a flea market. It's called "The Metcalfe family album" and it tells the story of six generations of Metcalfes. Every Christmas a member of the family writes about the past year, their hopes and dreams, their loves and losses and also shares Christmas traditions to pass on to the next generation. There are recipes in there, crafts, stories etc etc... It was so much fun to read ! Sometimes it made me laugh and sometimes even had to blink away tears. It is so real yet at the end it says it is fiction.
I keep it on display on my coffee table.
Did anybody read it ?
