It seems like forever since I have had a chance to visit! I hope everyone is doing well. Can you believe it is already August? Soon school will be starting and then strap in the holidays will be upon us.

Sorry, no note from my Mom but an excellant excuse...

Life has been busy.. I am trying to live a healthy life style and have been going to the gym (which I hate by the way!) I am quite overweight and I have decided it is time to get healthy!! I have been able to wittle away 50 lbs but I have alot more to go! (I did say quite overweight)! So my excuse is that I have been trying not to sit in front of the computer as much and trying to move more!

I did miss you guys alot and that is why I am making time to come back and visit as this site really makes me smile!! If I could post while on the treadmill it would be even better.. hmmm.. maybe I need a blackberry!!!:sparkle:

Congratulations on losing 50 pounds. I'm trying to lose weight too, so I know how difficult it can be. I've lost 20 pounds so far, but still have 20 pounds to go before I will be okay with my weight...not happy, but okay. Good luck to you and keep up the good work!

No you don't!! The only reason I know is because a couple of the guys I was on a course with had them and the d*mn things kept going off!!

Think REALLY hi-tech mobile phone that can make tea and sandwiches as well as tell you the current oil prices in Qatar at the same time as letting you check up on MMC happenings and email your Gran!!!!!

Thank you everyone for the warm wishes.. I have really missed it here!

The only reason I know anything about blackberries is because it is a staple at work. I agree with Maureen once you have them they never stop going off.. but I must say.. being able to surf the net when not at a computer is alluring!!!! And if it can make tea too AWESOME!! My DH would be off the hook!

Sugerplum.. you go girl!!! 20lbs is amazing!! you are half way there!!! Keep us posted and keep up the excellant work!!! Just think how fab you will look and FEEL for Christmas!!!!:tree:

Congratulations to both you and sugarplum on the weight loss !!! Keep up the good work. Don't try to lose weight too fast at once and change your life style to healthy eating habits combined with a regular exercise program. That is the only way to keep the weight off !

Set a reachable goal for Christmas and then treat yourself to a lovely Christmas gift as a reward !!!
