Okay section three is one of the MOST important sections in my notebook...it saves me time and money!

This section is called GIFTS but it is actually divided into smaller sections too. Here's what's included:

1. Gift Closet Inventory: I use the OC one: HERE (http://organizedchristmas.com/printable/houseworks-holiday-plan/gift-closet-inventory)

2. Master Gift List: I use the OC one: HERE (http://organizedchristmas.com/printable/houseworks-holiday-plan/master-gift-list)

3. Stocking Stuffer List: HERE (http://organizedchristmas.com/printable/houseworks-holiday-plan/stocking-stuffers)

4. 24 Days Gift List: I created it in Excel...across the top are the kids names and then under each one is 24 blank spaces for writing the gifts as they are dcided upon and purchased.

Recording purchases means i save money by not overbuying and keeping track means I save time as I know at a glance what I still need to pick up!

Last year I did an advent gift basket. I purchased 25 small trinkets, some food, some small flashlights, hand warmers, little things like that, and wrapped them in gift paper and labeled them by number. (The food items are candy bars, chewing gum, anything non perishable.) From Dec 1 to Christmas, we draw a name of whoever is at the house that day...meaning, if we have company, their names are added to the bowl and then whoevers name is picked, they get to open the small gift with that days number, and keep it. I need to add these gifts to my gift buying list. I have already purchased some items when we were on vacation. Oh...for the Christmas day gift, it is a $20 gift certificate to a local shoppe.
