Legends of The Christmas Tree

I use to buy real/live trees with my mother for the Victorian House we live in. But now we just have artificial which is just fine. And as a child we would once in blue moon go out of state to visit my grandparents. My grandfather traditionally hung his tree from the ceiling(Scandanavian way - Said was a way to keep the rodents out - I said right) But I wondered about any legends or stories about the Christmas tree. I came across and site that covers a few of the legends. It short, simple and to the point.
