I LOVED David Huddleston in "Santa Claus: The Movie" but I especially love the elderly Austrian man who portrayed him in "One Magic Christmas".

:snowball:I just love the Santa Claus in Miracle on 34th Street. It's the latest edition I think it was made in the middle 90's. He's such a realistic Santa.

Richard attenborough makes a very fine santa, but at that point I was waiting for a velociraptor to show up. I suppose if he had done miracle first i probably wouldnt have thought that way
I will always hold a special place in my heart for edmund guinn(sp?) from the original.
I also enjoyed ed asner in elf

Well, I always liked Mickey Rooney's voice in the kid Christmas shows.
Tim Allen did okay, I loved all 3 movies and have them all.
I guess I'd have to say the Santa on the original "Miracle on 34th Street" was pretty believable. I liked him.:hi:

I like Art Carney's down and out department store Santa in that old episode of The Twilight Zone where he finds Santa's magic toy sack and starts giving out gifts to the poor and disenfranchised in his neighborhood... now, THAT'S a Christmas redemption story! cheesy

Id have to say Tim Allen in the Santa Clause. He did a great job :)
"This thing, you never know where it's been. A thousand malls! Well I hope you're happy, Comet. I hope you're happy, but most importantly, I hope the guy that lives here IS A TAILOR!" lol

Another vote for Edmund Gwenn. As much as I've liked other actors who've played Santa...for me, he's the classic, perfect Santa. :)
