Hey everyone,
Usually I am the type of person that buy's gifts near christmas and decorations at the same time, but after a day of being a member I have got in to the christmas spirit and I have bought some icicle lights for the outside of the house for an absolute steal!!! £4 for the item and £2 for postage!!! The feedback on the seller is good and the item is still in it's shrink wrapping with the original price inside (£14.99) So my question is, Dose this sight get you in to the christmas spirit more so and make you make purchases like these? If so we need to make another forum!

Thanks

It gets me in the mood every day! If it isn't the people talking about food, crafts, lights and presents, it's the games, the countdown to decorating and the Big Day. Talking about Santa, gifts, friendships, support for all kinds of things. This is one of the best sites out there for Christmas, but don't forget ChristmasTalk, Clausenet. This place gives you ideas for the next years decorations and so on. I started making my Christmas cards for the exchange and this weekend I'm going to start on the ornaments for the exchange. Christmas, WOOHOO!!!!!:snowball:

It certainly got me started early this year ! I usually start organizing and planning in September but now I've been making things for Christmas since the beginning of summer really ! It sure feels great to have found some friends to talk "Christmas" to all year long !

I really do not I think I left Christmas mode after christmas last year! LOL! I have been shopping all year, picking up a gift here and there, looking for and trying new recipes to use this holiday season. Menu planning, activity planning, just plan out thinking about Christmas all the time. I hoping to get out this weekend and pick up some Christmas crafts to do with the kids.

I have to agree..this site is wonderful and so are the people on it! I bought my Christmas cards last week cheesy. My hubby just shakes his head and laughs..he thinks im a little crazy, but thats ok. Its great to be on here and to feel the Christmas joy long before most people do!

:)) It IS wonderful to come here and indulge our year-round love for Christmas!!! I have bought some things for Christmas 2008 -- but our house is SMALL! n So - until I get rid of some of the clutter hidden away in closets and cabinets -- the Christmas things have to sit in a corner, hidden under a sheet. How festive is that?

Well -- this is a Holiday Weekend coming up!!! I think it is a GREAT time to start getting rid of clutter - and trying to make a more dignified place for the Christmas items!! (A little cleaning wouldn't hurt either!)

Absolutely! I think about Christmas all year anyway, but this site and all the threads on decorating and cooking and gifts gets my organizational and motivational motors running early!
Given it's 365 day a year appeal, I'm certain that Santa himself and the majority of North Pole residents are members of this site.
