I am hunting for ideas for my 2 yr old little boy for gifts from Santa Clause!
I am thinking of a wagon for his big gift.
But what else? I could go nuts on this!! I guess and suppose I should be reasonable!!
I want to get him everything "I" see!!
He loves "Go Diego Go"!! Any thoughts, suggestions, and insights?:rudolph:

I went off on getting my daughter "stuff" on her 2nd Christmas. And lesson learned it is smart to be reasonable I agree. Kids at this age are easy to please. I think a wagon is a great idea. I got my d/d lots of books, drawing stuff (like crayons, paper etc) she loved this stuff more so than the toys. I would also check online at Toysrus.com where you can view toys that are age appropriate. The different ages are listed in different categories. Nice thing about this website, is that parents, grandparents etc who buy a certain toy for a child can give a review on if the toys was worth what they paid, was it sturdy and durable, or did it break after 2 days etc. Good luck! It's so much fun buying for little ones! =)

My nephew was two last Christmas and he got far too much for someone so young. Half the stuff he never looked at.
A few presents is enough for them.
Stuff that they can use and learn from

My son will be 2 in February. For Christmas this year we already bought him a train that he rides on. I wasnt sure if he was old enough for one of those power wheels. Plus our winters can be pretty cold and I know he would want to be outside if we got him a power wheels. The train is by little tikes. I got it from QVC Christmas in July for like $110 including tax and shipping. It comes with a circle track that is 19 ft (we are going to set it up in our finished basement) but can also be driven on sidewalk or flat surface for spring and summer time. It only goes about 1 mph which is slower then the Power Wheels. So I dont have to worry about him going to fast and getting hurt. It is adorable! I also got him a lot of books and some coloring items too. He loves coloring even though he loses interest and ruins 100 pages at a time lol. Goodluck and keep us updated cheesy Here is a link for the train!

Wagons are great. We got one last year for our kids and we take it everywhere. We use it a amusement parks, water parks, parks... We got a radio flyer wagon and I found a clip on umbrella for it to protect little ones from too much sun. Our youngest just turned 2. she loves to ride around in it.

I also get the kids coloring books for Christmas. I like the Color Wonder ones. The markers only color on the the coloring books, not on mommy's sofa. Our oldest budding Picasso drew his first circle in bright red on the sofa cushion.

No, we never got it out. It was hard to be too terribly mad at him. It was the first shape he had drawn and he was so proud. This (and many other stories and pictures) I keep in a little "mommy" book. Have so many already and he is only 5. I plan on sharing many of them at his wedding, they're just too good to keep to myself.

I'm sure with a 2 year old boy you will have many stories as well.

By Christmas, my daughter will be 22 months. She recently showed an interest in kitchen sets. I will be digging deep in the pockets this year to watch the look on her face when she sees it. I can't believe how elaborate and detailed the kitchen sets are these days. I don't remember EVER having something like this but it's the one we wanted to get her.

oh my goodness....I love that kitchen.....And yes....You are right...these things sometimes look extremely real....

ONe funny incident with my best friend....lol...gotta laugh even thinking about it....

She went thru a catalog and saw washing mashine of a good brand.....for 15 friggin Euros....lol....so she was like....oh boy....I gotta order it....she was about to tell her landlord (they are her friends) to help her carry it up, when it arrives....suddenly she looks at the size of the washing maschine and bursts out laughing....I´m still laughing bout it, when I imagine this thing would have been send....the looks on the face of her and her landlord would have been great to watch....hahaha....for Y´all to imagine how it looked...here´s the picture....I can´t blame her for thinking it´s a real one....cos it is the exact copy of a real one....just much smaller...lol

aww the picture of those two little ones in the wagon is precious. Wagons are a good toy, they come in handy for transporting the little ones too. My kids had one and it worked out great taking them around the neighborhood.

The washing machine story is funny, God love her.

I have it easy this year buying for my grandchildren, all the young ones from age 3 and up want more Webkinz, yaaaaaaaaaaa. Easy and I love easy. I started getting them, I order one yesterday. So I have 6 webkinz to buy and the two older grandson just want money, boring. But they just might find their money wrapped in a big box under lots of tissue paper, hee hee.

Last year, we got our 2 year old a Kitchen set for Christmas. He loves it and plays with it almost everyday?

You got your boy a kitchen set?
Actually, I've thought about that too. Our church nursery has a kitchen set and Nathan had fun playing with that Wednesday night!
I got so tickled watching him make believe there was something to drink in the little cups!
I also thought about a "work bench" with the tools, etc. But I could just see the nails and bolts scattered all over the floor and in every nook and cranny!!
I need to get him some outside toys.....:gift::-x

He LOVES the kitchen set! Almost as much as the train set we had gotten him the year before. He loves to "cook" for us and then have us try it. It's also helped him to want to help me cook dinner.

I'd also thought about those tiny little bikes with training wheels...oh the decisions and choices!!
