View Full Version : Coming Soon Who will post #100,000?

Sometime in the next month we are going to hit a significant milestone -- 100,000 posts here on the Merry Forums. Who would have ever thought that so much could be said about Christmas?

We know we're the biggest Christmas forum on the Internet. But we're a long, long way from being a big or busy forum by current standards (if you reach 250,000 posts you're considered a big forum).

I hope we keep our "coziness".

Jeff

I'm taking it off the front page stats box -- here (http://www.mymerrychristmas.com). I'll have to dig into the database to see who actually gets the post.

Wow! And you say this isn't a big forum? I've missed being here. I know I've been busy. The last time I took pages off of my daily calendar was September 8th. I've missed one or two days here and there but never 3 weeks. Never!

I went in to the database to look it up and was very shocked to see the #100,000 was....ME!

The post/thread about Santa's Sleigh.org was #100,000. How appropriate.

congrats Jeff.....what a great thing....a 100.000posts...that´s huge to me....it seems lately there are so many new posts each days....it will rise quite a bit before Christmas...with all the new people coming and people that been on the low during the year that come out of the woods again...really cool...

And it must nice to see that all of Your work pays off somehow. People wouldn´t post here, if they wouldn´t love this page so....Good job fellas!!!

I finally figured that out -- the front page only shows publicly accessible posts and does not count post for groups, private areas, platinum member areas and Christmas Crew areas.
