I went to our sub-station post office today, armed with a call card to pick up a parcel. I thought it was one of the books I had ordered. Boy was I wrong!

Now don't get me wrong, but what was given to me shows that there is human kindness still available and it came right from ClausNET, a place where Santa hangs out and listens and reads. It was a parcel sent to me with a note about recuperating from the last knee surgery I had.
I won't tell you what the parcel contained or who it was from. Suffice it to say that it was totally unexpected and yet very welcome. The story is true, only the name has been omitted.
I've thanked this Santa already with a personal e-mail but I also want to publicly say thank you. It lends to the fact that we at ClausNET are a family and we look out for one another. Here is a person, that I haven't met except for the posts on various topics here.
When I joined ClausNET I was hoping to learn from some of you who have been lighting up children's eyes for many years. I've received some great e-mails from some of you saying that we should meet some where, some day. I treasure that, coming from people who I haven't met.
I will continue to pray for all the members here at ClausNET, that our God keeps you all safe and provides the cheer at Christmas time that only a Santa can give and receive. I got some hugs last year during the very few "gigs" I had, but boy did they make me feel good. I started to realize what some of the "older" Santa's have said about the feeling they have when a child gives you that hug or tells you "I love you Santa".
I don't want to get into rambling on, but I do want to say that I am proud to be a part of ClausNET and thank you for your thoughts, words of wisdom, support and encouragement.
And thank you again Santa ....... for lighting up my day. God bless.
