So, does anyone here write a Christmas Newsletter for their Christmas Cards? If you do, when do you start writing them? If not, why? Do you have a family member who ALWAYS does a newsletter? Do you enjoy these newsletters?

I have never written a letter, nor have I ever gotten one. Just never really interested me.

I loved that episode too!

I also loved that episode. There I days when I want to wrap my hands around Marie's neck and shake...but I digress.....

I always get a newsletter from my Aunt out in California. I actually look forward to hers because....she's on the wierd side. You know how it is. There's one in every family.

:-) I have received a Christmas Letter from one cousin a few times. My mother wrote one a few times. She would include general updates on the family and then add specific tidbits or ask questions about the person she was sending it to so it wouldn't be too "general". I guess I find them impersonable and sometimes they can be a little "braggy".

Last year I sent out a Christmas Email Letter. It wasn't about an update regarding my family. It contained a few fond Christmas memories, partial lyrics to my favourite Christmas songs, a few Christmas jokes and some famous quotes so overall it was a personal Christmas Greeting. I included an attachment of a photo of my brothers and I hanging our stockings when we were 7, 8 and 9 years old. I enjoyed putting it together; several of the people I sent it to also received Christmas cards in the mail.

I've gotten the newsletter type before, I don't write them myself though. Not sure what to think about them. I feel a Christmas card should be more beauty than boredom, I prefer not to get a short story
