:-) When I logged-on, I noticed two names I didn't recognize. Newbies are like the stocking stuffers at Christmas.
:D Welcome Stocking Stuffers!

8-) I was posting away and then my husband called me out of the computer room to talk about something totally unrelated to Christmas - unable to maintain my interest I quickly returned. He followed, got bored and retreated to the living room.

While I have always loved Christmas, I was never a fanatic about it. When I first met my husband, he'd get on a Christmas kick and my eyes would glaze over and I'd tune him out. After a short time, I started to get as excited as he does. Now I am a full fledged Christmas crazy. We go garage saling all summer looking for the sad, rejected remnants of other people's Christmases. So, needless to say, we usually have something around that is Christmas related all time.

:-) My husband was not "big into Christmas" until a few years after we were married. I finally converted him. Well, he was no Grinch, but he was always feeling a little down because he missed his parents who passed on many years ago, they never had the chance to meet me. My family made him feel special and welcome at Christmas.
Over the years, I brought him with me to help make choices when we shopped for the boys, their wives, and our grandchildren.
Last year, when I didn't set up my Dicken's Village and had to put the Christmas Tree in our bedroom, etc. (because of our Son of a Feral Cat), he commented on how much he missed the decorations. Yes!!! I've got him hooked on Christmas.
Don't expect to see him posting anytime soon. He only knows how to play music on the computer; he has no interest in it.

Halloween and Christmas are my favorites....I think that is why I watch the nightmare before christmas as often as I do....lol

:-) I told my husband about the husband and wife Christmas team posting together in Christmas Matrimony. I asked him if he was ready to get serious about Christmas and take a stroll along the snowy path Santa walks in (maybe I overdid it). He asked when I was going to sit down and watch sports with him.
 I guess there are somethings we're going to have to enjoy on our own.

Auntie, my hubby would probably be the same way. Maybe I should use that line on him tonight. He'll probably just roll his eyes and think I've gone insane. I'm still working on him!!!
