Hi everyone... I am so happy I found this site!
Everyone in my family and friendship circles think I am mad because I love Christmas so much. Im a 25 year old mum of 1 gorgeous boy who is nearly 5. I live with my son, my parents and my older brother. Christmas is a very special time for me and my family. I live in Victoria, Australia and I work part time as a Medical Receptionist. I see Christmas as a time to celebrate, to rejoice and to instill traditions in my son that will be treasured for generations.
I love spending money (though I dont have a credit card) and I love Santa. I have approx. 30 people I buy for. I appreciate and love Christmas more as an adult than I did when I was little. I think this site and Christmas lovers like to draw on a bit of magic and excitement and enjoy it for what its worth. It's that one time of year where our world doesn't seem so crazy. Even if we are on the lookout for that specific roll of wrapping paper! Priceless is seeing the grin on my little boys face on "Frissmas Day" after Santa has dropped by. It really annoys me when people say they cant be bothered putting their tree up, or when people go out of their way to bring christmas down.
Christmas should be enjoyed by everyone. If not for religious reasons, for the sheer joy!
