but as i sit here sipping my hazelnut mocha latte, staring out over the top of my computer to the courtyard below, i see the first bit of change in the light. know what i mean? the way the light starts to change in the fall? and i do not refer to the end of DST. i know fall is officially 4 weeks away, but there is just something about the way the sun is today that seems to be singing fall.
just wanted to share.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/AuntieMistletoe/FallTree.gif I used to love raking up the leaves and jumping into the heaping pile. Better yet, being tossed into it from a "wheel-barrow". Warning! Remove rake from pile before diving into it.
Hey, maybe that explains why I am the way I am.
Then again, maybe not.

I've always loved fall. The colors, the smells, the cooler evenings.

Not sure about FL, but throughout the south there is a risk of jumping into a pile of leaves...and a snake. I never thought about it in PA, but ran into waaay too many in AL. Look before you leap after you move south.

I dont remember raking leaves the last time I was there. But I'm sure the gators would go for that trick too
