not sure if they had it in the US but before Christmas when I was on my quarterly visit to Costco they had a really cool full size arcade machine with tons of classic games, including centipede! They even had the rollerball controller. It was extremely cool but pretty expensive for my budget at least.
In fact here it is! Check out the list of mouthwatering classic games on this puppy!

I became a pro at "Breakout" back in the day (a glorified version of Pong)... mainly because I wanted to see what would happen if you destroyed ALL the blocks... another grouping of them just popped up... what a rip!

I used to play Pac-Man every week at the bowling alley where my parents were playing on a league. I got so good at it I made it to the last stage of the game. Till this day I still love that game..just can't play it with out a joystick..not very good with the little arrows!

I have one of those plug n play games that has Pac Man and some other games on it and it has a joystick. It's not quite the same as playing the real game but, it's better than the little arrows!
I remember playing the head to head table top games when I would go to restaurants. My brother and I would play Burgertime on the table top. It was great. Also, we still have one of those miniture arcade Pac Man games. It looked just like the big game in the arcade but, it was miniturized. I think they came out with 4 or 5 games and Pac Man was one of them. They may have had a Donkey Kong too. Does anyone remember the Pac Man Fever song? My mom and I took mother daughter jazz together and at the end of the recital the entire dance school would be up on stage and we'd do 1 number together and one year that was the song that we did!
Pac Man Fever! (Pac Man Fever), driving me crazy!... I loved that song. And, we used to have this little bakery in my town and this old man ran it. Mr. Valdiserri. He'd start baking at 2am and he'd make the best Pac Man cookies. When my bus stop was at his bakery he'd invite all of us kids in when it was cold and he give each of us a cookie and hot chocolate...FREE! He was great and so were his cookies. I miss him and the Pac Man cookies. Memories!

Here's a link to the song, sorry I couldn't find the actual video (if there is one.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-MONIvP6kI
Here's the lyrics:
I got a pocket full of quarters, and I'm headed to the arcade.
I don't have a lot of money, but I'm bringing ev'rything I made.
I've got a callus on my finger, and my shoulder's hurting too.
I'm gonna eat them all up, just as soon as they turn blue.
Chorus:
'Cause I've got Pac-Man fever;
Pac-Man fever.
It's driving me crazy.
Driving me crazy.
I've got Pac-Man fever;
Pac-Man fever.
I'm going out of my mind.
Going out of my mind.
I've got Pac-Man fever;
Pac-Man fever.
I'm going out of my mind.
Going out of my mind.
I've got all the patterns down, up until the ninth key.
I've got Speedy on my tail, and I know it's either him or me.
So I'm heading out the back door and in the other side;
Gonna eat the cherries up and take them all for a ride.
Chorus
I'm gonna fake it to the left, and move to the right;
'Cause Pokey's too slow, and Blinky's out of sight.
Guitar solo
Now I've got them on the run, and I'm looking for the high score;
So it's once around the block, And I'll slide back out the side door.
I'm really cookin' now, eating everything in sight.
All my money's gone, so I'll be back tomorow night.
'Cause I've got Pac-Man fever;
Pac-Man fever.
It's driving me crazy.
Driving me crazy.
I've got Pac-Man fever;
Pac-Man fever.
I'm going out of my mind.
Going out of my mind.
Repeat and fade

Galaxian, 1941, Star Wars
I was very lucky kid growing up in the early 80's my dad used to have a job where he would repair Video Arcade games and quite often he would bring the video arcades home with him on a night so while those that had maybe pong or an Atari in their house I was playing Video arcades in the dining room for hours at a time. I remember playing Pacman one Friday night for nearly 4hours solid and ended up with callous on my middle finger.

A callous just like the song says! See it's true. That's cool that you basically had an arcade delivered right to your house! We used to have our birthday parties at our local arcade named Mean Machines! It was great.

I liked Centipede until I was playing it one time and my skin got pinched in that ball that you had to roll around to play the game. That was it for me, I was ticked at it and I never played it again!cheesy

Never got into any of the ones you have on your poll. Except I did play a little bit of pac man. I vote other.....Moon Patrol was my weakness!! I remember a buddy of mine, we use to sneak out at night and walk down to the Quik Trip a couple of blocks away to play video games. They had Galaga and Moon Patrol. We would buy a "Big Gulp" and play till Midnight or so.

definitely! I owned that one & the Galaxian version as well. But in my "i'm a kid who needs quick money" stage of life I sold them both sadly. But I did manage to find Ms. Pacman in the same kind of cabinet, I tend to snap up old electronic games I used to own if I find them for reasonable prices. :)

Awesome...then that one. I've always loved Super Nintendo a lot though. That was a good thing that came out of the 90's! I got a working Super Nintendo from a yard sale and have sat there with my X Box 360 turned off trying to kill Bowser in Super Mario Brothers.

I loved that game too and I used to go to my friend's house to play it because I didn't have it. I'd get frustrated when I couldn't jump on those alligator heads correctly and I'd fall in as soon as they opened their mouths. I have this game as a plug and play. It's fun!
