As we continue to grow our needs for added support and expertise grow as well. Today I'm pleased to announce the addition of two new members to our Christmas Crew -- Rodmonster and CharlestonNole.
You know both of these Christmas enthusiasts well.
Rod will serve as our Master of Christmas Exchanges, taking a leading role in the management and publicity of our annual Christmas Card and Ornament exchanges. These fun, public events requires a man of Rod's enthusiasm and charisma. Rod is a friend magnet, a true party animal in the purest Christmas sense! Rod has a dual role, in addition, he will lead topic areas regarding Mardi Gras (our resident expert!) and all things retro.
CharlestonNole will serve as our Minister of Christmas Defense. In addition to lending a hand with the news on the War on Christmas (and the War on the War on Christmas) CharlestonNole will help keep the peace in what sometimes are controversial threads related to that topic. CharlestonNole is a level headed, steady influence in our community with an abundant sense of what Christmas is all about. He is highly suited for this role and we're grateful he has accepted the chance to take an expanded role.
I thank both of this fine gentlemen for their willingness to serve and hope you extend a hand of thanks to them for their contributions to MMC.
