Hey all I am back. I have had a very trying several weeks. Finals then graduation ONE. We lost my father-in-law on the 27th of may. He had been sick for a while and he just passed on in his sleep that Wednesday morning. He was 85 and so very loved. I am doing some summer courses to stay on top of things. I start back to Fayetteville State University (FSU) in August so that will be a full load of coursework. We are going to be going to the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in Linville/Boone, NC in July. If anyone is interested in more information on that go to www.gmhg.org. Fun times to be had by all. I am still chugging along on trying to get that warm fuzzy feeling I normally get this time of year but it has been a bit hard. I will get it though. Well all I am not tired of updating but I need to go get some sleep. Hope to hear from some of you soon. TTFN and a HAPPY half year Christmas. :P

Bless you heart! I'm sorry for your family's loss.
I lived in Fayetteville years ago. My dad was in the army & we were stationed there for years when I was a kid.
Welcome back!

My thoughts are with you. I do want to tell you that I LOVE TTFN--I use that SO OFTEN!!! Plus, I am a North Carolinian--but in the Marine vernacular it is North Cackalackian!!! Now I live in Northern California (NC--get it???)

LOL seawaters. Glad to know some others from NC (North Carolina that is). I thank you all for your warm thoughts and wishes. I dunno if I posted this originally BUT I did graduate on May 15th, BUT I am further pursuing my Bachelor's in elementary education with a concentration in reading and history. You can never have too many history majors because history is always changing its face. As for the reading portion, I love great reads and I want to pass that passion onto the young minds of this generation. Well all again thanks so much for the warm thoughts and wishes. I hope to be able to log on more but only the time restraints will tell. I am taking summer courses and all that to stay ahead of everything as of now so we will see. TTFN and God Bless everyone. OH AND MERRY CHRISTMAS (a few months early, LOL)
Mrs. HJ
P.S. Mr. HJ is sick and I think it is either bronchitis or a touch of the pneumonia- but we won't know until he goes to the doc in a few days.

DID headelf. We are renting an RV next year. We got rained out on Saturday and our flippin tent leaked a bit. So I figure I want to be DRY instead of having a bag fulla clothes AND water next year if it rains. Hope everyone is having a good summer.

Tarheel here too! I lost my mom back in April. So I can understand about the getting in the spirit. But my mom loved Christmas so that makes it somewhat easy right now.
