wow. the second i sent the above message, i was reminded that in one of my copies of either the hobbit or the trilogy, there is, at the back of the book, all of JRRT's notes on elvish and pronunciation etc... i would get it out and help, but it is in the same box as my yearbook, not an easy to get to place.
i would venture to guess that somewhere on this world wide web is that same information.
