everyone must be busy having lunch.

i made myself a lovely bacon sandwich. had a cuke and olive salad to go with.

quite delish.

Do you ever just eat a cucumber straight out of the garden, no peeling, just a good wash? Actually, when I grew them myself, I didn't even wash them, just wiped the dirt off on my pants. Carried a salt shaker for just such an occasion.

yes i have!! aint nothing better than a cuke or tomato still sun-warm. mmmmmmmm.

I used to go swimming in the pond after hauling hay and after that I always had a taste for a BLT on toast. Fresh maters are best.

growing up on the farm there were lots of things to pick fresh and eat. I found some mushrooms growing in the pasture one day and munched on several. Though quite young I recall this specific day because I kept having trouble with my Big Wheel, running into stuff.

Fresh tomato, RIGHT from the garden! MMMMMMMMM! :-D Doesn't get much better than that!
