What's the job? Mrs. Claus at the mall? That would be cool. CEO of FNJFSIFC? (Former New Jersians for Snow in Florida Coalition)

I wish it was for Mrs. Clause. It's an administrative assistant position, so lots of typing and filing. FUN!

I couldn't be the CEO of anything to do with snow. I'm one of those odd Christmas lovers that doesn't like snow.

Doesn't...like...snow. Today has been hard on me. Trees coming down on Christmas Day, assault rifles as graduation gifts, "What is Rankin Bass," and now this. Where's the Tylenol?

I don't like to be cold and snow makes me cold. I don't mind it on Christmas Day, but that's about it. I don't ski. I don't skate. I do occasionally like a good sleigh ride, but I really don't like snow. I will be using sand to simulate snow this year.

I like the snow and cold but don't really like to be actually out in it much. On the real cold days trudging to the store to get HoHos is a real pain

I tend to think about breaking a hip more often than I used to.

A good friend of ours was loading wood in his stove in his shop last night and apparently enhaled too much smoke, got dizzy or something and fell backwards on the concrete floor and broke his ball joint in his hip. Thank goodness he lives just down from us so a few of the guys (we were here around a bonfire) ran down and loaded him up so his wife could take him to the ER. He is scheduled for surgery in the am.

I've never seen my mother iron and if she tried....well, let's just say that my suit would be in NJ and I would be in FL.

Well, I was about 10 minutes early for the interview. The people seemed nice. I had to interview with a panel of 3 people. You know the interview questions....what do you bring to the job that other candidates don't....what is the most challenging part of an administrative assistant's job....blah blah blah....

I think I did well. (At least I hope so) The commute would be awesome 10 minutes to get there, 7 minutes to get home. As someone who is used to a 40 minute to 1 1/2 hour commute...this would be HEAVEN.

They are narrowing down the field of 7 candidates to 4. I should know if I made the call back by Friday (why so long...don't know). In the meantime, I'm still going crazy from boredom at home.

Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers and good wishes.

Last time I had to sit before a panel of three was with the parole board. Sounds like your interview went well. I hate the wait don't you? maybe they will call before Friday.

I'm also in the running for a pretty cool job with Coldwell Banker, but it pays a lot less. It's more interesting though...so I'm really torn.

I'm not nervous about the interview itself. I'm nervous that I won't get it.
Does that make sense????
