One of my co-workers loves to go to garage sales anyway she handed me like 5 Christmas cd's she picked up for 10 cents. They are all good ones too. Classic stuff like I like. I'm listening to them right now. Woo Hoo!

WOW!! You totally lucked out. I hit yard sales every weekend and have yet to find Christmas cd's.

I did check out the Christmas cd rack at Best Buy yesterday and I have to say their selection disappointed me.

My parents have lots on vinyl thats I would LOVE to have on digital. I don't even own a record player anymore

I assume Christmas has officialy started for you now. :-D

As far as best buys selection goes, I will assume that this and others will become better when November hits, just a guess though. :-D

A couple of years ago, we purchased my step-Dad a combo record player, CD player, perhaps cassette player and AM/FM radio and I gave him a ton of vinyl that was left at my Grandparent's that was simply going to be tossed and all were in great shape......the player was just under $100 and has great sound. Mom said he'll often go into his 'playroom' and simply put some vinyl on and sit there for hours.

I've seen some LPs I wouldn't mind getting my hands on, but also don't own a ercord player, anymore, but might consider purchasing one like Jim's, just so I can get some LPs.

My sister and I got one for my mom for Christmas this year. It's an all in one combination as well.

I think the sound is really nice and worth the price, especially if someone has a nice collection of vinyl or is wanting to start a collection.
