@ 3 am I woke up cold, so i worked my blanket to try to get warm I stayed awake untl 5 am so I got up and went to the hall closet and got the flannel blanket that goes with the set. after I finish this post Im going to change my summer sheets to my flannel/winter sheets. So many things are happening that are getting me in dive mode to the Christmas season, cold weather, seeing Christmas commercials every now and again, Christmas catalogs, things coming up in the store, and more. as close here is the Nort Texas weather report for this week. If you would like to share your areas report please do, seeing cold weather evry where gets me in the spirit (weired huh).

Monday: High 69/ Low 39
Tuesday: High 72/ Low 49
Wednesday: High 76/ Low 65
Thursday: High 76/ Low 58
Friday: High 77/ Low 49
Saturday: High 74/ Low 50
Sunday: High 73/ Low 51

This may not seem like cool/cold/fall weather to most but here in North Texas this is close. :-D

Only thing about them, everytime I order from them I get a email/postcard back telling me the item I ordered is either backordered or out of stock. And I can order the day the new magazine hits the internet.

Were they used when you bought them? Just throw them on the bed and sleep! They're going to be covered in eggnog and cookie crumbs anyway! 8)

I'm googling Christmas sheets. I found a bed set that looks real nice but the sheets are only 180 thread count. I can't live with that.

I just ordered some sheets from Domestications. They are 60/40 250 thread count sheets. It's a comforter set. I decided not to go completely cotton because I'm sick of ironing my 100% cotton sheets everytime I wash them. I bought Battenburg Shams and I have to seriously iron them after I wash them. I love the way 100% cotton feels but I just don't like ironing. I saw some cool snowman flannels.

Normally I act like a kid but am somewhat reserved because I know I'm supposed to act better. Those sheets caused me to drop my guard and act like a kid with no restraint. I was like the opening scene in A Christmas Story, with my nose against the monitor.

We're getting a new bed here soon and we'll be getting new sheets too. We saw these really nice burgundy flannel sheets at WalMart that we think we're gonna get for winter and we'll get gold summer sheets to match our new comforter set. I have NEVER heard of someone actually having Christmas sheets. lol! I didn't even know they sold them.

Well I already ordered the other ones but maybe I'll get the snowmen after Christmas. I just don't know if I want flannel down here in the tropics.

True but it's also nicer having a lower electric bill in the cooler months.

Yeah you guys down in FL are lucky (sort of) You get a lower elecrtic bill in the winter. Up here in Oh, our electric bill stays pretty much the same but our gas bill skyrockets.
