I LOVE to play Scene It. It's a DVD game that you play on your tv and answer the questions. It is so much fun. I also like to play Cranium. We played it with my Mom and Dad once and my Dad had to hum a Madonna song...and well - he didn't know any. I laughed so hard I was crying.

We also have Simpsons Monopoly and Simpsons Jeopardy. They are fun too.

Cranium is the most fun I've ever had playing a board game.

I have an old old Flintstones Game I bought on Ebay that's pretty fun. OK, it's darn near boring, but the nostalgia is fun. I also have a Simpsons Monopoly game.

Monopoly with triple extra money, Trivia Pursuit, Trouble, and Battleship, Scrabble. Play ALL of these online now. Board games are becoming extinct.

oh i disagree, erv, i dont think actual board games are becoming extinct! true, you can play stuff online now, but nothing beats sitting on the floor around the coffee table with friends or family and i dont think anything ever will!!

Notice who is most often playing those board games - baby boomers. I know they sell by the millions, but they are surely going the way of the newspaper, which is also usually read by older folks. I still like a newspaper, but only get them when I eat at IHOP for some reason. There is a free Nashville paper with a really hard crossword.

I know a family that has a family night every Monday. No TV, only card games or board games. Nice to see it still exists.

The way the economy is anymore my best friends are scattered about the country. We used to get together every Friday night and play cards or all night Monopoly. Now we can all get together online and play. We can even save the game and pick up at a later date. The nice thing about it is I don't have to clean house after they leave and I can plop in front of the puter in my Scrooge underoos and nobody knows. Unless I forgot and left my webcam on. :-?
