So, does anyone have any funny "forgot to change the clock stories?"

My mother gets up Sunday morning to go to the early church service that is supposed to start at 7...but the Sunday after we're supposed to change our clocks back, she always ALWAYS forgets to do so...so she gets up and gets to the church by 5:45am (of course her clock says 6:45) and every year she thinks that the church parking lot is empty because the rapture happened...it's really quite funny. I always get that call early Sunday morning in late October...my mom laughing at herself so hard she can barely tell me the story...

WINDOWS computers automatically change the time, I understand on the MAC you have to change a couple tubes and rewind the rubber band.

My high dollar Cingular phone (read that as company provided cheapie) automatically changed the clock after I turned it off and back on at lunch today. Sheesh! Glad it's free!

Maybe the swim messed up your autoupdate. My phone reset itself overnight without me turning it off or anything.

Now if you could train the DVD recorder to do the same thing...

One would think microwaves would have the logic built in by now

My VCR not only adjusts itself for daylight savings, but asks only for me to set it to PBS to be set originally. It's also got a pretty hardy battery in it (for a VCR anyway), because the power can be out for up to like four hours and the time will still be set when it comes back on.

It's a Panasonic Omnivision. I bought it just before DVD players were becoming popular, and I remember thinking "Nah, they'll never catch on".

Cool! I'm wanting to get a DVD recorder with a hard drive. Hopefully there will be some great Christmas sales
