I was watching the Today Show earlier and they had an "Eight is Enough" reunion, and it reminded me of a newspaper article I read about the TV theme song being dead and the only new show that has one is The Cleveland Show...
I thought a new thread paying tribute to old theme songs would be fun.
So if you could post the name or a Youtube thread of a song it would be fun to relive those old songs.

Most TV shows still have theme songs... The CSI's all have Who songs that reflect what they're about and USA's Psyche has a catchy little theme... I'm guessing what you're lamenting the dearth of is STORY theme songs that kinda give you the basic premise of the show... like...

I always liked The Jeffersons theme song! Seems that youtube has disabled the soundtrack on all the videos due to copyrights. :-?
