Almost saw it last night. Opted for Flags of Our Fathers at the last minute. I'll be seeing TSC3 this week though.

i'm glad it wasn't a bomb too! they were taking a major gamble by releasing a Christmas movie so early. Usually they get released by the third week of November closer to Thanksgiving when "normal" people are actually starting to get into the spirit.

I totally agree and think that The Polar Express would have done much better a couple years ago if it had been released around Thanksgiving.

I think The Polar Express was excellent. I bought it last year and was ready for disappointment, but was extremely pleasantly surprised. Instant classic in my opinion.

I liked it, but if you compare it to the other two, it wasn't NEARLY as good. Maybe next time!

elf no contest. I mean the polar express is ok and a little cool but elf is funny and cool. and the guy who plays elf did a great job of acting. he realy got into the movie and did great. and the polar express I mean the main character dosn't speak that much. they did a good job but it wasn't that great.

I'll agree that Elf was a good movie, but I really get into the Polar Express, too. The animation was terrific and the story is classic. I guess I'll just have to watch both. 8)

well I do agree that the animation was very good the picture man I liked it. I know it was a classic story but the movie didn't seem right to me they barely talk. I want them to TALK! cause movies are all about talking I mean without talking who would know what it was about?

I saw it. it was pretty good. good story but one part in it kinda freaked me out. I saw the day after it came out. and now in my town they are showing movies at the theatre that are already out on dvd. the nightmare before christmas. I like that movie alot. it was very good and I like the picture in the movie.

Yes...the Triplets of Belleville was really good. I love loVE LOVE the dog.
Slick...ask you dad to rent you an old silent movie. I think you'd enjoy it. I agree that, while Polar Express was really good, it was not a big talking movie. I think the idea was the scenery and awesome music was to carry the parts where there was no talking.
I loved Elf. I normally don't like Will Farrell that much. He hit the nail on the head with Elf. I can watch it over and over again.

COmet farts too much, blooper reels were hilarious and MArtin SHort plays a mean Jack Frost. 2 great comedians. TOGETHER what makes a better movie? AND boy oh boy is CHarlie ever starting to look more handsome

I saw this today and thought it was great! I don't understand all the bad critics, what did they expect.....some Oscar winning theatrical experience?
This was a fun loving holiday movie and it pulled it off and that's what it was meant to be

Just popping in from a friend's house to say that I had a great Thanksgiving and we saw SC3 last night. Pretty entertaining. I was really looking forward to Jack Frost getting what he deserved. I liked it better than SC2. Small WOW factor towards the end with the in-laws. Well, gotta go now. See ya later.
