"The Christmas Shoes" book and movie

Did anyone see that ABC Family movie also did you read the book? Did you think the movie followed the book well or did you think it was poorly done?

I read the book then saw the movie 2 years ago on "25 days till Christmas". Personally I think if you read the book first then you will be disappointed when you see the movie but I will let you decide for yourself. The movie itself is very moving and done well, Rob Lowe and Kimberly Williams-Paisley star in it.
