I usually hand write my cards with a personalized note, usually a paragraph long. I'm tempted to get the printed cards this year and then just add a short personal note to each card I send. I haven't decided yet.

I like the ones that have a printed message in them and I leave a little personal note too.

I have done both so I really cant say. This year I am doing photo cards so if given the option to have them printed I will with Merry Christmas and Happy New Year on them and then sign our names. To the ones closest to us I always write a little something extra.

We send EVERYONE the mass printed ones with the pics of our kids on it but our closest family and friends get hand written ones too.

I've always purchased the printed message cards, but always add my own personal note and wishes to the card, too.

I bought some 40 to 50 year old Christmas cards on Ebay. They are in perfect condition, so I sign them and send them to the guys and girls I correspond with in prisons around the US. For the folks at church, we buy regular cards and sign them. For the folks at work I also add a written message such as, "Thanks for not firing me this year."

I normally do about 300 cards a season. I always write a little personal note and send a newsletter with them, and I sign each one. Yes I get hand cramps but it is well worth it to get a card back with lotsa love and holiday cheer.

HAND WRITTEN MAKES IT FEEL SO MUCH MORE PERSONABLE. I FEEL IT MAKES IT A BETTER CARD WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE IT YOURSELF.
