At our house our traditions include, picking aside older toys the kids had as in if they got 7 new items they took 7 old items n we left them out on new years eve when mrs claus come sto our house to get the items n take them back to the north pole to fix n give out to kids next year. Thus we get to donate to needy areas as we see fit each year.

For the 12 days of Christmas at my house we try to walk for 6 miles a day as we reflect on the actual burro and Jesus and Mary and their trek thru the dessert. That we believe was 70 miles ;ong at that time. Thus remembering we have great roads ,cars and footwear, compared to being on a donkey and pregnant and travelling. So our family walks and thinks on their life and its easy day to day items we take for granted. I ask seniors to just take a half hour and think about the actual trek on that magical time and the birth of our savior Jesus Christ, during these days. I have quite a few followers and the idea is talked about a bit thru any aquaintances i have met.
