Jody Harlan, the Public Information Administrator for the state agency, says, "In the past, we've had some people who have had their feelings hurt, and they didn't feel included."

Tell me you're kidding! Is this a state law? I've never heard any place enacting a law such as that.

Sometimes I think the motives are right but the expression is out of whack. Some people believe that to love your child, you must shelter them from any physical or emotional harm, even if they bring it on themselves. There's an idea of a utopian society where everyone feeds each other grapes and gets along, but people are and always will be people.
