Every time that I post when I hit submit I am getting this error.

Could not connect to smtp host : 111 : Connection refused

I wasn't even able to access the board for the better part of the day.

I have 2 computers in the house right now and I've tried both of them and yesterday I did get that error but I haven't gotten it yet today.

We are seeing big surges in traffic, not unusual for this time of year. We have tried to make things as efficient as we can but we may have to go with two servers next year.

The forums themselves are NOT busy, and likely won't be. But the regular site is swamped, thus affecting the forums at different times of the day.

I'm not sure if anyone else is getting it but I also get this

it doesn't let me look at forums sometimes and its althrough the webiste.

I think those errors are due to the heavy traffic. I get those alot too when there are alot of guests showing on the main page.

k... it never happened to me before though... but when i went to this website about 4 days or so ago when it said... this board isn't available right now... its been kinda doing that ever since. o well.

I disabled the board the other night to make some changes to lessen the server load. It has helped alot, we've had like four times the traffic overall the last couple of days. The forums hog a lot of memory and while you don't see a lot of folks posting there are tons reading these and other pages. That is what makes access here difficult sometimes.

It will calm down...right around Wednesday of next week.
