Just finished a bowl of homemade deer chili that I made and we are about to sit down and watch Christmas Vacation. I got a brand new bottle of eggnog so I think I am gonna pour a glass and wrap some presents while watching.

Went shopping today... got some gifts... found out that i got a gift someone else got someone... We got our snow back too! its not as much as last time too

Well, Ive got the TV on A Christmas Carol. Its the one with Patrick Stewart. I've got my kitten laying in my lap, hubby's asleep on the couch, lol.

I like to think I'm fairly proficient with household wiring, but I guess I've never been real safety oriented. I pulled a switch out last night to hard-wire an RF remote receiver and gambled on not turning the power off (I usually don't turn the power off unless I'm working with voltage high enough to jump an air gap). Something arced and I got to once again become one with the electricity. :o

Oh no!! My ex kinda had the same attitude (and situation) with electricity and didnt turn off the power while changing out a light switch. Only did that trick once even though I begged him to teach me how to fly like that!

How bad is the burn? Like go to the doctor bad? Maybe you should get some of those insulated gloves!! Hey, that would make a good Christmas present for you!!! :D

No worse than the burns I get working on my car. I have gloves, but my hands are generally too large to work in tight spaces as it is. Adding gloves just makes it more cumbersome. :-?

This has been a fun night. I finally got BF to sit down and watch Christmas Vacation all the way thru with me and he really enjoyed it. I would tell him what to watch in certain scenes that a person might normally miss and that even added to it. He even cracked that it seemed like I had 'watched it a few times before' HAHA!! That got me to thinking and adding and I came up with I have watched it somewhere between 200-250 times.

I arrived home around 5:30pm and proceeded to get Dell support on the phone trying to fix Mike's computer. I put a meatloaf in the oven and made homemade tomato sauce. I then baked an acorn squash. Next, while running back and forth from stove to my husbands computer set up project, I made chocolate chip cookie bars. It is now 10:30PM and I AM TIRED!!!!
