I saw the blues thread and I want to be an encouragement to you who feel the letdown.
:-)

I for one (with the exception of church) was never quite in the mood this year... and ya know what that's o.k.

My decorations will not go down til after the 6th maybe later because I like them! :wiggy:

The goal I have for 2007 is to make a little Christmas during the year every month. Feelings aside of birthdays etc. but doing just because things.

And I tell you I listen to Christmas music all year long. I find it meditative and relaxing.

I wish you all a blessed blessed 2007 I will come in often to check in. and remember only 360 and then some til next Christmas!

hugs,

Yes... Welcome Patti. We haven't had a new person in a while and we will be glad to here your post. Christy Do you really think the slump is effecting why people aren't coming on here that much right now? But anyway we are glad to have you here and enjoy.

I do Devon. Alot of people want to get as far away from Christmas as they can for awhile and from what I have read around here before there are alot of seasonal visitors to the site too. The regulars will be back soon enough.

That's really good cause this is my first year on the forums and I'm really used to 10 people at the least being on here all day. Then I come here... day after Christmas... and there's probably 2 people on all day *not including me*. As long as they come back that's good. Atleast your here to talk Christy. I really don't want this Forum going blank for a while. I'll be glad when they come back.

Welcome Patti!! I think that we all experience a little Christmas letdown. That's just part of the holidays. Most of us get time off from work, get to spend time with family and friends and as soon as it is over, you are right back to your normal life. Then you know it's a while before you get to do it again. That's why it's nice to have a place like this to visit and get a little Christmas spirit all year long!

I'm still here, although not as active...I have a son that is in hockey so my weekends get tied up pretty good, so I don't get on as often as I'd like, but I do still pop in and read threads and respond where I can.

Welcome again patti and believe it or not, thanks to the group of regulars here, ie dominick, Christy, devOn, etc., my post-Christmas depression isn't as bad as it has been in the past. You've joined a wonderful forum with people who help keep the Christmas spirit going.

Thanks to all.

Sean

I feel the same way Sean, if we all pull for each other we can get through these blues.

I was really depressed after Christmas and decided I needed to find a way or group of people that shared my enthusiam for Christmas, and this forum has helped tremondously. I still feel a bit of the Christmas season from this forum and I think the Christmas depression I feel in January will be more bearable, when you can share with people. Kate took down all the inside trees, and decorations and I spent the day outside taking lights down, and I wasn't down, but excited for Christmas future and planning for next year.

Have a great new year everyone
