Oh I bet that was nice. I remember as a child going to my tiny country church and it being all decorated and the Christmas music. We always had a play and I was so scared when it was my part.

Glad you had a nice Christmas evening!

That really must of been nice. I wish our area was like that. All we here on our radios is non Christmas music. All I see on the streets is non lit houses. All I'm thinking is Why Don't People Want To Celebrate Christmas A Little Bit Longer?

When I was out today, carols were still going as well. All the houses here have all their lights on, got all my lights on. And tonight I have them going as there is another small holiday/new years party we're having here tonight :-D

I went outside today to look at lights (if they were still there), and I saw probably 5-10 houses still with lights on. I was glad for those people and wish that the whole town would keep theirs out for a while.

I just got back from Whitefish, Montana, and if you ever want to see a beautifully decorated town or region, travel there. It is picture perfect Christmas scene with the mountains with fresh powder and all the poles, and buildings are trimmed with miles of fresh greenery, nothing tacky or fake. The buildings are all log and it is just a great place for skiing or to spend a quiet few days winding down after Christmas.

I work multimedia for our church and they had a New Years Eve service that had some carols and they also had their decorations up. Going to a party last night, there were still tons of people that still had their lights on even at 1am. This aslo helps with the blues.
