What will you do different next Christmas season?

I will pretty much stick to my families normal Christmas routine and traditions, however, we will not be having all the family come to our house. We will be taking the drive to Grandma and Grandpa's lol, and have Christmas there with my side and my wife's side of the family. It just felt weird to have it at home, even with all the trimmings of a perfect Christmas. But other than that, I think I have the routine down.

We didn't do much for lights this year cause we are a little in debt, so we went a little down on the lights. This year we plan on having more lights and have all the bills payed off (hopefully). Other then that we are doing everything the same.

I for one am a procrastinator. So my intention is to have all gifts made by November and then spend lots of time baking.. (which I did none of this holiday and missed it!) :(

Oh geez, the list is endless...

Do more baking
Get my presents bought early
Get all my decorations out this year and not just some of them
Have all of my family healthy (ya, I know I have no control over that but I can wish!)
Watch more christmas specials instead of recording them to watch later

I could go on and on

Well I would really like to either start a Christmas club so I have money put away for next year or Christmas shop all year throughout the year instead of waiting until the last minute.

My dad said he wanted to go to Disney World for Christmas next year. So I'm kinda aiming for that.

My goal this year and it's not really Christmas related, it's time for a new car! I've had it for ten years and it's going to cost more to fix it up than it's worth. Santa I need a car this year.

This is such a good topic! There's always something that you would do better next year. Mine include:

1. Not working (not my turn)
2. Bake more goodies.
3. Make my peanut butter fudge.
4. Really go all out on the outdoor decorations.
5. Find the perfect Christmas tree.
6. Try to spend part of the holidays in Arkie with my family.
7. Finally to steal from Christy, hope that our family is all healthy.

The only thing that I would really like to do different, is to get the decorating done earlier than I did this year (the inside stuff that is) It just seemed like things rushed up on me this year. Other than that, I really like how we do things around here.

I agree with Christy though, I pray for a healthy season. We got struck with a couple of friends deaths right before Christmas this year :(

I want to decorate more next year than I did this year.
I hope to get my shopping done a lot earlier.
