Is your family as Christmas crazy as you are?

I can say my family loves Christmas (wife, parents, my kids are too young to know lol, but I will raise them with a deep love of Christmas, but they do not share the enthusiasim near as much as me. It almost seems there is a whole new level of Christmas that people like us that post on forums about it experience. I mean, I would put up my tree November 1st, but Kate makes it wait till Nov 25ish and I'd have the lights on Oct 1st, but I have to wait till Nov lol. She loves Christmas and everything to do with it, but doesnt drool over seeing boxing day Christmas stuff sales, or have an addiction to purchasing Christmas lights lol. How about your family? Do they have a deep craziness or do you have any scrooges in your family?

I'd say I got my love of Christmas from my family and we all have varying levels of love for the holiday season. Overall, I'd say we're all on the same page when it comes to celebrating and decorating, just some have more room to really spread out and decorate. :D

Not as much as me. They are the people that want to take the tree down right now and I always say, Why, and they say cause it's in the way. It's still up there though. It'd be gone if I wasn't here.

In my house I am the only Christmas fan. BF is a total scrooge. He was better this year since it was our first year in the new house and humored me by hanging up the icicle lights (and he will go with me to get the tree) but the rest is up to me. If I beg nicely he will watch a movie or special with me, he really enjoyed Christmas Vacation (first time to watch it all the way thru) this year but I have hope for him yet. Baby steps I tell myself. *wink*

Now the rest of my family is better, my parents like to decorate quite a bit and I dont have to speak for my sis because she posts here herself.

My mum loves Christmas too but I don't think she loves it as much as I do hehe. My dad likes it but is always excited about taking the decorations down.

I have happily passed down my love for all things Christmas to my children. They like to go all out, too. My hubby gets more and more into it every year. He won't sit and watch Christmas cartoons or listen to Christmas music as much as the rest of us, but he does it more than he used to. He even put the tree up early for me this year.

I've converted my wife to liking Christmas more than she used to...especially with how I decorate the house. My younger children get as excited as I do, but for different reasons. Theirs is because of Santa and what he brings and mine is watching them marvel in the wonder and magic of Christmas. My older boy is now a teenager, so the wonder and magic is starting to wear out a little bit, at least at what he shows of it, but if you know what to look for in him, you can still see it in his eyes.
