A New Christmas Themed Hotel
From Wire Reports Ask a Question Discuss in the Merry Forum

New on the lodging scenein Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is the Inn at Christmas Place, where the décor is Christmas to the max.

It will open in June. The 145-room inn, which will have meeting and conference space for up to 300 people, will reflect the picturesque mountain-village architecture of the European Alps.

It is directly across the Parkway from its namesake, the Incredible Christmas Place, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year as one of Pigeon Forge’s favorite retail destinations.

Yep, I'd do the same.

Years ago we lived in the mountains -- lots of pines, fresh air, etc -- and it felt like Christmas to me year round. I loved living there and often wish we could move back.

I've had the thought of having Christmas-themed cabins in an area like that...something more intimate than a hotel.

Cabins sound great - It would be like a country Christmas any time of the year.

This causes me to think of the movie "Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. I love watching this movie throughout the year. Just saw it again the other night. Christmas cabins ...what a great idea! :)

I would love to stay there. I've been to Pigeon Forge many years ago. That just seems like the perfect place to have a Christmas themed hotel.
