Usually around a week or two before Christmas. Until then they stay stashed and out of sight.

I start wrapping anytime from the beginning of Dec to the middle of the month. Depending on what activites we have planned. I usually wait until the kids are in bed before I start wrapping most things. However there a few things I will let my daughter help with.

I start wrapping in November usually. Every year I participate in Operation Christmas Child and I drag everything out to wrap the shoe boxes that have to be turned in before Thanksgiving. It only makes sense to take care of any presents already in hand at that time.

In our family, the siblings give gifts to eachother and the parents Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is when the kids receive. :D

In December usually. If I wrapped them early, I would forget what goes to who, and what the gift was. I like to stay on top of things and know exactly what is going to which person. Plus, there is nothing better than wrapping presents in season. I always listen to Christmas music or watch a Christmas movie while I wrap. :D

I've got it down to a system of sorts. When I buy a gift I go home and wrap it immediately and put a name tag on it. Take out my journal of gifts and write down what I bought and for who(m). This is throughout the year. Even with all the other holidays in our life (anniversary, birthday, and so on). I guess I'm a little anal about the gift thing.:snowball:

Wow! I guess I'm the only procrastinatior in the bunch. I say each year that I'm going to wrap as I buy them, but each year ends up the same. I'm up till after 3:00 in the morning wrapping presents.

I usually wrap the presents when I get home from buying them unless they are presents I buy during the summer. Then, I will get them out when I start wrapping the others.

I start wrapping my presents sometime after Halloween. I keep them in my closet. I don't put the bows, ribbons, flowers, ornament and such on until they are ready to go under the tree, that way they look fresh and not mussed up.

I wrap early and wrap often.
Seriously, I try to keep in under control and get the wrapping done early because I do A LOT of wrapping. I not only wrap the gifts that DH and I purchase for everyone, but each year I take my mother shopping and then I wrap her gifts for her as well. If I didn't stay on top of it all, I'd be wrapping well into the New Year!

I like to get a jump on things so I wrap as I buy...Plus then I put things under the tree as sort of an addition to the decorations. I can't stand that feeling that you get when undone things start to build up around Christmas so anything I can do to try and avoid that, I do!!!

Another wrap-as-you-buy here. I've tried the marathon wrapping session in the past. Too tiring! :}

Im with the last 3, I wrap as I Buy...
I wait too put the bows ribbon or string on it, Until I'm ready to put it under the tree, I did put them under too early last year, I had to include dusting the gifts as a chore! LOL
as a matter of fact, I ended up taking everything off the tree to dust the ornaments and blow dust out of the tree! That is one of the negative things about putting it up so early. We have so much dust where I live its unreal!

I've already wrapped about a dozen pressies , I won't be doing anymore present buying until I move to my new house in Beginning of December which is a bit scary for me as I usually start christmas shopping in July as I have 5 kids as it makes it easier for me , but this year is going to be a challenge for me, even gettingthe christmas decorations up is going to be a small affair this time as well, as I put them up early usually, but next year will be a big year I hope....

I've bought a few presents and they are not wrapped yet. I do wrap as I buy when it's closer to Christmas..late Nov. or so.

WOW! Lots of people wrap early! I don't wrap until about December 22 or 23...I like to put them under the tree, and if I wrap too early, my cat will have knocked all the bows off and crushed them! cheesy
My hubby wraps as soon as he brings gifts home from the store, though. I like to do it all in one session with a Christmas movie on.

I love wrapping presents! I'd have to say I wrap as I buy, because I can't wait! I start looking through the wrapping paper box and want to wrap everything in sight. :give:

oh, also, every year my cousins come over usually on the 23rd so that santa can have the whole day to wrap all of their presents. they are 6, 8, and 11 years old and every year we make a scrapbook with tons of pictures of them that i've taken throughout the year and wrap it for them to take home as a present to their parents. cheesy

I usually wrap them as soon as I get them home. Unless we don't have any wrapping paper. Then I yell, "PAPER! WHERE'S THE PAPER! WE NEED PAPER!"

So, I'm getting the general idea 2am on Christmas morning is not a good thing and that's where I could be going wrong??!!!
That said, I've seen some wonderful movies with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and James Stewart and Celeste Holm at that time of night/morning whilst wrapping, together with a bottle of wine!!

We start anytime between the first weekend of Dec. up until a few days before the holidays, we do a little bit at a time. My husband is the wrapper in our family, he's so good at it but I assit him and keep him company. He wraps everyones presents except his own of course, I usually struggle with his a few days before the holidays.

I try to wrap as I buy. One year I waited and I was up soooo late wrapping gifts I thought never again. Takes all the fun out of the morning for me because I was still tired. So it's easiest for me to do it as I get them.
