I am sort of new here. It seems that I joined a few years ago but never actually posted anything. I had totally forgotten about this site until I recieved an email today. I am so excited. I have read a few of the posts here and I am glad there are people around that are as excited about the holidays as I am. Really looking forward to communicating with you all. Thanks for the big welcome and I will try to be more vocal. I am originally from Nigeria and moved here 10 years ago. My mom's from here and has always been big on celebrating Christmas. It's amazing how we take what our parents do for granted while we're still living with them. When I finally moved to the States, I had to make an effort to celebrate and do the preparations. I found that it was even more enjoyable preparing than it was sitting back and letting someone else do the work. We just bought a house and I am just going to love decorating it any which way I like and taking in the season.
