Reputation: Those Little Green Squares

The Merry Forums has a system whereby our members can "add reputation" to each other. Your reputation is measured by the little green squares in the upper right hand side of the member info bar above each post you make. The more squares you have, the higher your reputation is.

How do you give each other an increase in reputation?

Click the "scales" in the upper right side of the green post bar:

When you do that, a small box will pop up asking for a comment about why you want to add to someone's "rep".

This is a great way to give acknowledgement to each other for insightful information or for just being great members of the community.

The reputation feature has been one of the coolest of the new features added to the forums for me. I love sprinkling out a little rep on occasion! To see who's given you reputation, just click on user cp, it will take you to your control panel and you'll see a little list! What fun it is!!

You can up rep to by having a weekly or monthly "rep thread". You rep everyone who posts on the rep thread. I'll start one to show you. :))

Sounds interesting. I think I'll wait on that one. I'm still looking for some threads I posted to. I want to see responses. I do like the forum jump feature! That helped me find some. I didn't realise there were so many threads.
