I dont know if this is the right place to put it, but Im gona post it anyway!

I think that these forums and the people on these forums are the best!
I have been surfing other forums, and In fact ConstantlyCHristmas.com was more like reading rule book instead of welcoming you to their forums. Here its like...COME ON IN!! Make yourself at home! How are ya?! Over there... I just dont see it as being a pleasent experience. SO I just wanted to let ya'll know that MMC is THE best Forum out there!!! Hands Down!!
And thanks for letting me be a part of it!

I love this Christmas forum! I'm a member of another Christmas forum and I'm not proud of it. I like the site not the forum.

The forums have all this spam and inappropriate things. I will not disclose the name of the site, you might know the sit but I will not tell you the name. If you really wanna know the name PM me and I'll tell you.

As long as I've been here, there has always been the most dilligent spam fighting team on any forum I've seen to date. Thanks to Jeff, they can barely even get through any more. It really does make the entire experience here that much more enjoyable.

You still have the old spam fighter squad on stand by should anything happen.

I love this site to. I'm a member of some others, and this is the best equal by far. Of course I'm a little biased to my own little forum which I would like to roughly model off this one. They say to imitate is the best compliment one can pay to someone else.

cheers

JingleBelle's site, Talk Christmas is nice. The new Claus.net is fabulous! But then, the people responsible for those two, are here too.

I think Im gonna stick with this one. This is the first forum I joined and I love it. and Your right, there really isnt any spam and everyone is quite jolly (lol) and the rules are the rules. They arent shoved down your throat and your not threatened with legal action before you even join. I just dont understand how you can think that saying all of that kinds of stuff will get people to join and think they are joining a happy place?? Im so confused and then I come here and I smile!! I smile!!! :D

To me, this is the best Christmas forum because it is simply easy to navigate. Others will all the other stuff surrounding what you are reading or on the home page is just distracting and annoying.

I got lucky I guess. My first forum was this one, and since then I've joined 3 other ones. All three are a branch of MMC. I love all 4 and they keep me busy, so I'm not joining any more. :))

So you've joined this one, Christmas Talk, Talk Christmas, and the XmasPlace. Would those be the 4?

I am partial to the merrynetwork forums and will stick with them. Of course evertime I try to join clausnet.com I don't get accepted so it must be my name. of course we know which is my favorite but I do come here and read alot. Not much posting because I am pooped and some days and just want a fix on my christmas spirit so I come and read here. I am blowing it today because of all the bickering right now I just want some quiet time Posting.:)

I'll get you fixed up at Clausnet, Light. They've got Santas there. If you want some Christmas spirit, you need to get to know some of these old guys. What a hoot!

You guys (Or as we say in Texas, Ya'll) certainly have me hooked. I don't have much time to do anything lately but work on my business. This has been a much needed breath of fresh air. Ya'll are great!

I love it here! I run my own message board as well for several years, and then from Nov 1st through Christmas we have a Christmas message board I run as well. My friends there are not a christmas nutty as me so I had to stray and look for this place, as i needed more them a months worth of holiday! :)
Thanks for the wonderful Christmas forum

This is definitely a great forum, much more active and welcoming than my old boards (http://s13.invisionfree.com/snowflake). I still miss the Christmas.com boards though, they were just active enough, but not overwhelmingly so. :D

I enrolled for this site in 2005 but then started to be a more active member on TheXmasplace.com.

For some reason I still don't know, that site is down. So, I'm trying to be back here more often. My life changed so much since las December (12/2006) that I don't have much time for any forum.

But this is another story...

I love the Merry Network..or should I say "family" of sites!!
I'm a member of the outdoor display sites, of which MyHolidayDisplays.com, is my favorite, but unless you're talking about electricity and building displays you can feel like an outsider.

But this site and the others here are the best for 365 Christmas chatting.

Here are 3 more Christmas forums that you can join (and I've already joined them, so it wouldn't surprise me to see some of you MerryNetwork members over there as well):

Organized Christmas is folding. The other two boards are on free sites and unless they do something they won't be around long either. Sad to hear what is happening at OC.

gameshowguy2000
09-28-2007, 03:27 PM
I think those two sites are relatively new. The person who runs Organized Christmas is gonna shut it down next year. My guess, Jeff, is you've heard of Organized Christmas, even though you're not a member there.

Jeff Westover
09-28-2007, 03:48 PM
Yes, I have and I've offered to help keep the site up. From the way I understand it, the site itself will stay up just that the forums will be shut down. We'll see what we can do to help.
