I listen to it year round. I can tell you that listener traffic at Merry Christmas Radio have jumped about 40% since early May -- so Christmas is definitely on the minds of many this time of year.

It loads lightning fast for me. Still, we're no where near our capacity at MCR. In December, forget about it, we're tapped out. The only way you'll reach it is to be a VIP. But right now, it should be open sailing for all.

About 50% of the music on my MP2 player is Christmas music. I was listening to mostly Christmas music on my flight home yesterday.

Like I have mentioned in the past, I listen to Christmas music whenever the mood hits me. Infact, I am listening to Christmas songs as I write. There is a website called Accuradio.com and they have a link to holiday music which is filled with different Christmas music.

I have a set of the old time radio christmas shows that I listen to nightly! I think it's actually from "radio spirit" ??
I love listening to those old shows. There is about 20 different tapes to listen to.
I just pop my head phones on fall asleep listening while hubby is watching tv.
Some of them are music but mostly shows like "Father Knows Best", Jack Benny, Burns and Allen. Amos and Andy. They are really great.

Gojiman here to let you know that I listen to the Trans Siberian Orchestra almost all year round for a while I did. Now I am listening to TSO in my car, but I have been known to listen to Ed Van Fleet on an occassion this is perhaps the best instrumental music out there on christmas.

I try to put in my Dr. Demento Christmas CD to drive my husband nuts every chance I can get. Then I put the other ones in my CD player in my Scrapbook room all year long.

Since I've discoverd Christmas music on Internet radio, I've been listening to it since Jan 2007 most everyday. It's my soothing music. My lift. There's a line from a song I wrote called "Daddy's Crazy About Christmas" . It goes like this:
"Christmas music plays in Daddy's car on worn out tapes,
My friends think he's crazy, 'cause it's just September 8th."
I guess that describes me.

When I work in the office its what I listen to, then when I come on the boards I throw it on. Cant get enough of it, its such good music why only listen to it at one time a year.

I listen off and on throughout the year but I usually keep it pretty quiet (like when I'm in the office by myself) until the beginning of November...then all bets are off.

I can't listen to Christmas music right after Christmas, ...it's a post-holiday depression thing. But I get back in the Christmas music mood by March or April.
I'm a longtime listener and programmer of Christmas Broadband on Live365 (I don't run it, I just provide new music), but I also enjoy Merry Christmas Radio since having both changes up the playlist some for me.
Along with internet radio at work, I also collect Christmas CDs and I scout for them all year long. I don't have a CD count, but I know I have all the classics and now I'm just adding the hard-to-find releases.

I listen to Christmas music off and on throughout the year. Starting the week of Thanksgiving it is usually all I listen to.

I listen to Christmas music starting in the Month of April. There is no special reason. Christmas music seems to lift my spirits no matter what when I listen to it. I have Many CD's and I listen to 365 live radio broadcast as well.:tree:

I start in July and listen to it all month long but then I stop and don't start listening again until either I hear a Christmas song on the radio or Thanksgiving day. I stop listening to it on New Years Eve.

At work we start playing christmas music in June (at least we did this year). The first three months of the year are difficult, I think, because I get really sad listening to christmas music. Itīs the after-christmas-blues. In March and April people complain if they hear christmas music in the shop (in a all year round christmas shop, can you belive it??!!) and that makes me sad. The spring-blues. But in June we start with bluegrass and somekind of "christmas-in-July" themed music. Then we start building up to more and more traditional music and in December we start playing Icelandic christmas music.
A week ago I started listening to christmas music at home. About 10 hours a day from now on. At least. :transform:

There was a guy at work who used to only sing Christmas songs in July, never in December. Something about July being so hot and at the half way point seems to bring Christmas to mind for some. I'm bouncing back and forth from a Christmas to Halloween mood. I've had the Peanuts Christmas music playing the past few days, and also some Rob Zombie and Ghastly Ones!!:?
