Hello gang..
An hour and a half til my weekend starts...HOORAY!
Had a couple of changes in plans, which is fine!
Tonight..maybe hubby and I can go to the mall?
Saturday we were gonna go to Hershey, but with some budget issues that will hopefully happen next weekend. Besides the weather is supposed to get bad!
So instead we might go downtown and take pics by the nativity and Christmas tree....
my niece's baby shower is also on Saturday
Sunday is a day to relax and then go to mass
I work on Monday..
Takin' off Tuesday to volunteer at the Salvation Army (also my daughters 16th birthday)
Wednesday is our office party
Thursday is a work day
starting my holiday on Friday the 21st..... shopping for one thing! (YUCK...lol)

SEASON DAY 33
Days to Christmas Day: 10 (Single digits tomorrow. Double Wow!)
Good Morning, all of my Christmas buddies!
Next-To-The-Last weekend before the Big Day.
Are you ready? Is all that shopping done? Are the gifts wrapped? Cards sent? ......Coffee drunk?
"Great balls of fire, time's a-wastin"!
The temp here in Raleigh was 46 when I got up about 4 hours ago. It has now dropped to 44 and it's overcast. Has the feel of snow in the air but that is not predicted.
I'm probably just wasting type but has anyone heard about the annual "Holiday at Pops" (Boston Pops Orchestra) concert that used to be broadcast on TV every year until recently? Any chance it will make a comeback?
Can't understand why they stopped televising this wonderful program. It was my favorite annual special.
Well, have a Stupendous Saturday, everyone!
Enjoy your weekend and keep a Christmas song in your heart wherever you go.

Hi Crownster! How's that FOX doing today?
Big Big BIG storm heading our way....ice, snow, high winds...you know, the good stuff.
I think I already caught that "Christmas at the White House" sometime last week...or was that a re-run of last year's?

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/AuntieMistletoe/XmasPicAlbum/TumblingSnowball.gif I got lost in the snow.
It's 10 F with windgusts up to 60 km/h and a snowstorm with possible thunder booms have foiled my plans to finish up my Christmas shopping this weekend.
We're expecting about 7 inches of snow today.
Guess I'll have to finish my shopping next weekend instead, but I can start wrapping the gifts I have to stay feeling merry and bright.

:} Happy Birthday, Sila! Enjoy it, but save a few wishes for Santa to deliver.
Got coffee? Hot chocolate? I'm feeling chilly today.
:merry: Maybe this will help warm me up . . .
Before Santa Comes
Before Santa Claus arrives with or without snow,
I'll hang the outdoor lights and a festive bow.
For the reindeer, I’ll leave a treat or two,
And I’ll be sure to clean the chimney flue.
Santa will nod as he leaves a gift by the tree,
A special surprise he chose just for me.
With or without snowflakes touching the ground
I wish you and yours a blessed Christmas found.

SEASON DAY 34
Days to Christmas Day: 9 (Single digits have arrived!!)
Now, let me tell you, it's getting close! I hope everyone is about ready!!
Well, it's overcast and very wet. Had a nice, soaking rain yesterday evening and night. Might help put a dent in the drought!
The temp stands at a seasonal but chilly 42 in Raleigh at this hour.
The nieces needed some Christmas money so they came over to my father's place to do a little work, yesterday. The older one and I raked the back yard and had a nice visit as we worked. I love having them drop by!
Family is so important to have. Treat them well.
Have a Super Sunday, everybody!
And enjoy the rest of your weekend.
(P.S. In honor of reaching single digits, I am going to be launching 3 special threads concerning Christmas songs.
Check them out and please contribute! Thanks.)

Happy Birthday Sila!
My plans changed all over the place but it was good!
Saturday I went to Emmittsburg and spent some time in reflection at the National Shrine of Our Lady and Mother Seton.
Then I did a lil' shopping. WOW it was NUTZ!
I didn't go to the baby shower... eh, I needed some me time!
Today it's icy outside.. gonna catch-up on some housework and then possibly bake. Made chili and had cornbread last night!
I hope it's icy tomorrow so I can "skip work!" Ha
I was already taking off on Tuesday.. my daughter's 16th birthday.
Wednesday we are having our office party
Thursday I will have to actually work, bummer!
Friday I was planning to shop but we have the farm Christmas dinner!
Any who... things are going so fast!
I want to make sure I remember the reason for the season!
Hugs

Good Morning!
A frosty good morning from NC.
Thirty-Two for my morning commute, with 24 predicted for tomorrow - scarf and hat weather - and so seasonal. I can hear those sleigh bells jingling!
SEASON DAY 35
Days to Christmas Day: 8 (One week from tomorrow!)
I hope everyone had a nice weekend as we prepare to start the last full week before Christmas.
Was at the mall over the weekend just to walk and get a bite to eat. Still LOTS of "last minute" shoppers. The parking decks were nearly filled to capacity. I love to watch the bustle (as long as I'm done, that is!)
Well, have a Marvelous Monday, everyone.
Don't drink too much coffee (unless you are Binger, of course - such a warning would be useless for them)

Good Monday morning gang....
Binger, could you share the java...PLEEEEEEAAASE! (lol)
We sound like soul-mates, coz I really did just miss my baby cousin's wedding on December 8th.
We had all intentions of going but due to last minute money issues and the weather didn't..... :-?
Tonight the local Knights of Columbus are showing "The Nativity Story" and if I am feeling any better I want to go.
Got a flu shot but I have a really bad cold. Eyes running, sneezing, head ache...the whole 9 yards.
I can't be sick for CHRIST-mas
Crown...I am one of those last minute bustlers this year....
YUCK the stores were so full....
Saturday I should be done...
Still a lil bummed I didn't get to bake and craft much. Hopefully on Friday morning!
Hugs everyone..
SEVEN DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS!

Indeed. In fact, one year I found a Christmas gift for someone December 28 and held it to the following Christmas. Now THAT'S starting early!
SEASON DAY 36
Days to Christmas Day: 7 (One week from today!)
Wow! Only one week left. Can you believe it?
A cold 26 degrees for the morning commute today. Lots of frost on the cars. Glad I threw a sheet over my windshield last night.
Don't forget to watch the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on PBS tomorrow night. A wonderful annual presentation - lots of nice songs (and no screamers!).
I love hearing groups sing. It's usually more dependably straight and Christmassy than with individual performers.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, fellow Christmas anticipators!

I'm aboard, just a little quiet...My head is spinning and I can't believe that we are a week away...And I'm even dreading it all being over a little...Typical for me...We have a million stops to make over the next week...Hope we have time to really enjoy things...That Michigan girl has been a little scarce...I'll have to email her!!!
A big old Christmas hug to you my good friend Binger...Someday, we'll all celebrate together around a big fireplace with all the coffee one can drink! We'll solve all the worlds problems, have the greatest Christmas ever, than have more coffee...Sound like a plan???
Oh...And I don't think the Tabernacle Choir is sponsored by Starbucks...I think that members of the church avoid coffee, and all caffeine if I'm not mistaken...I know religion takes sacrifice...But man that would be the ultimate...Oh well...The temples are beautiful, the congregation is growing swiftly and the singing is superb...They must be doing something right!!!

I'm around!!! Have spent the better part of 3 hours this afternoon panicking in the woods after my dog's lead snapped and he took off. Just as we were giving up (5pm and pitch black) he trotted back through the shispering pines, trailing 25ft of extendible lead behind him. All the better to string him up with!!!!!!!
101 uses for plaid
No. 43 - Tear into handy strips and use to tie on twigs and branches to find your way back through the woods. Handy for those times when your evil stepmother deserts you and your brother and you are left to the mercy of an old crone with a tasty house. Point of note - don't rely on dogs finding their way back; dogs are colorblind!
Fuelled by high octane caffeine in my Bubba Keg 2000, I advance on the masses tomorrow, prepared to take no prisoners. I will shop till I drop or until my bank manager turns a nice shade of Hunting Stewart - whichever comes first
T minus 7 and counting - we have ignition..........:yahoo:

Awww, Cedar!
After reading that, I feel like it's Christmas already!
Actually, your desire to be Santa tracks very closely with the plot of an old Twilight Zone story from December of 1960, where a man (played by Art Carney) finds a magic bag that begins to give gifts on Christmas Eve.
I have the series on DVD and try to always watch that eipsode during the Christmas season.

Well, all I can say is I hope everyone is ready, 'cuz it's just around the corner. One last, glorious weekend to shop, get a bite to eat at your favorite cafe,...... grab a supersized coffee flagon at Starbucks!
Damp and cool here in Raleigh at this hour with the temp at 44. At least there was no frost (and no willow leaves!) on my car this morning.
My sister, father and I are meeting a friend of my sister's at "Ruby Tuesday" for dinner this evening.
One of my favorite things to do during the holiday season is to eat out at a nice restaurant! It just seems so warm and seasonal -- but the place MUST have Christmas decorations for the magic to work.
Well have a FABULOUS FRIDAY, FRIENDS!

Well here it is just days before the "big day", you know the one I've been looking forward to since last Boxing Day and wouldn't you know it I'M NOT READY - uggh!
The weather hasn't cooperated and when it has, I was occupied with other tasks and unable to go. So the last seven gifts I have to get will be bought tomorrow. Of course they're calling for rain. Oh well, I'll just pop open my Auntie Poppins Umbrella and head over to the mall.
:-x Santa is delivering my surprises to my parents house this year. That means I'll be able to pop into the CHAT room sometime over Chrsitmas Eve or Christmas Day between visits.
My husband and I will open our gifts to each other here and watch O'Malley open his presents from Santa while we wait for my parents, brother - his girlfriend and chaufeaur friend to wake up and call us to come over. Last year we agreed that 10:00 was a good time, but nobody was ready for us until 11:00 - seems like it gets later every year. Perhaps that's because they need more sleep as they get older.
I didn't put myself into that older age category because I'll be wide awake all night listening for the sound of sleigh bells and trying to catch a few winks.
Visit to Santa Update and possibly a quick visit to NORAD and I'll be all set.
~ I don't have to go to work for eight days. Yippee!

WOW! So close...so close. I will definitely try to be here on Christmas Eve with you Crownster. I love Christmas Eve day more than 'THE' day itself...it holds more magic, especially in the late day into evening when the candles get lit, the fire is stoked, the roast is in the oven, some "Cheer" poured into glasses...and if it is snowing...Oh if it snows on Christmas Eve...it's perfection.
Right now, listening to The Lansing Symphony Holiday Pops on PBS. Doing a Leroy Anderson medley.

~I think I heard a rumor that it definitely WILL snow on Christmas Eve and into Christmas Day.
That would be great, Cedar! And if it occurs, you must snap a photo for the Christmas Photos 2007 thread!
I also know how you feel about Christmas Eve.
We anticipate Christmas Day but realize that that it is also the end.
That factor is another reason why I devised the idea of the Season count - the "Season" has depth and is not over in just one day.
And speaking of that:
SEASON DAY 41
Days to Christmas Day: 2 (Fantastic!, Fantastic!)
Warmer here this morning, with the temp over here at my father's place (where we have gathered for Christmas) standing at 53. Another good raking day. (The leaves keep falling around here until early January!)
Well, have a Super last Sunday before Christmas and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I can't believe an entire Saturday slipped by without a visit to any of my festive hang-outs.
Good news though, I'm finished my shopping and everything is wrapped up and ready to be opened.
I still have two rolls of Scotch tape left if anyone needs to borrow any and I also have three rolls of gift wrap, some tissue paper and gift tags too.
:-) I don't know what time I'll be around on Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning, but I'll be knocking on the Chat room door a few times. If my plans work out, I'll be home in time to greet midnight and see if Santa is heading my way.
It's raining today, but we're expecting snow later tonight (snow squalls) and fluffy snow tomorrow afternoon.
I'll be lighting the luminaries with my dad, brother and neighbours around 5:30 tomorrow night. I hope my night digital photography works out so I can show you how beautiful the street is.
My dad and my brother will help me if the "fireworks" feature isn't the best choice for taking pictures I have several others to choose from.
Festive Cheers,
Auntie M.

HI LIGHT! How are you? So Great to hear from you!!!!! ~Merry, Merry Christmas!!!!!
I received a nice card from Sparkling Star and she said she might stop in to say "Hi" to her old friends also!! Hope So!
EXTREMELY Windy outside and it is artic bitter cold. The horses are crazed, running around nipping and chasing each other..manes and tails flying!
Gotta go shopping...one LAST time, but this time it's for the horses. They always get fresh shavings a new salt block and some kind of alfafa/apple treat. The "girls" (my hens) get fancier scatch than usual and fresh shavings plus bananas and oatmeal...they love that.
Talk to ya later alligators. Nutters. Christmas Angels. Ok ok, I'm outta here. YABBA YABBA YABBA......

Merry Christmas everyone!
The good thing about being in the middle of my work week during Christmas is that I will be able to be here and in the chat room Christmas Eve and Christmas Day evening! Due to the nature of my work, I may have to duck out and come back at times. Idiots and thugs are never able to get by without "assistance" from public safety agencies, even during Christmas. Sad, but true.
During the regularly scheduled chat tonight (12/23/2007), join me in listening to The Bone Conduction Music Show - Christmas Extravaganza between 7:00 - 11:00 pm, ET. Remember the listening/chat parties when host Thayrone gave us shout outs & Lovely Linda would join us in the chat room? They even played Christmas music for us all during the year! Thayrone still wonders were we all went.
BCMS - http://www.thayrone.com/ Follow the listen links. Also choose the two hour Christmas show archive for a warm up to tonight's four hour show!
Chat - http://www.christmaschatter.com/ When logging into the chat, boxes will ask you for your name and a password. Most of us use our forum screen name as a courtesy. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but a password isn't necessary. I never use a password and always get in.
Now, for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day I'll be in chat off and on between 4:00 pm & midnight, Eastern. I'll also have Jon Solomon's twenty-four hour Christmas Marathon Show playing - http://www.wprb.com/ Click on the listen now link. Jon takes requests by e-mail and by phone and keeps a running playlist (no repeats) online. I know that members from FaLaLaLaLa.com will be interacting with Jon. Let's see if we can get him to mention the MMC Network as well!
From the website:
20th Annual 24-Hour Xmas show!
Jon Solomon is at the controls this Monday, December 24th starting at 6:00 pm ET until December 25th at 6:00 pm ET for the 20th annual edition of his 24-Hour Holiday Radio Show. Have a request or a submission you would like to make? Send Jon an email.
Also check Jon's web site - http://www.keepingscoreathome.com/
Hope to see all of you there!

SEASON DAY 42
Days to Christmas Day: 1 (Christmas Eve! What more need be said?)
Well, this is it guys - Christmas Eve. Nearly a full year of counting dwindled down to a single day. << Sigh! >>
I hope it's a good one, and that everyone got everything done they wanted to.
Will certainly try to be here late this evening to count down the minutes to midnight, family obligations allowing.
Have an outstanding Christmas Eve Day and I hope to see some of you here tonight!

And if that ain't enough (and by holly jolly golly, why shouldn't it be!), last evening's Bone Conduction Music Show - Christmas Extravaganza is now available for download or streaming. - http://www.thayrone.com/listennow.html

Alright folks! I've been surveilling the chat room and there are folks in there I've never heard of (as always, boys and girls, a preposition is a terrible thing to end a sentence with!).
We may have to clean house when we get fired up over there! We seem to have squeezed them out last night when enough of us got in and started chatting about the real reason for being there! Just be sure to not confront them about being there or for what they are posting. That's what they like!

It Feels Like Christmas By: Auntie Mistletoe (based on the lyrics to You Make Me Feel Like Dancing by: Leo Sayer [Written by Leo Sayer and Vini Poncia])
I’ve got the cutest stocking
You’re gonna fill it for me
You’ll avoid disappointing
Just sprinkle your magic dust
And *poof* there’s a present for me
Stop and admire my decorated yard
Tiptoe softly so I won’t catch you off guard
It feels like Christmas ~ Christmas
I’m gonna celebrate in every way
It feels like Christmas ~ Christmas
I’m gonna celebrate in every way
You make we wanna believe
And thankful for what I receive
It feels like Christmas ~ Christmas ahhhh ho ho ho ho
It feels like Christmas ~ Christmas ahhhh ho ho ho ho

Hope the best for all of you and a very happy, healthy New Year!!! My love to my best friend, Bing...my love to you all!
Don't go to K-mart on Christmas Eve day...without a box of kleenex handy. I had to buy a candy thermometer and witnessed 3 adult men trying to buy presents for their wives...standing in the cookware section...looking bewildered, confused...crockpot or pyrex bowls...crockpot or rice cooker? hmmmm. One of them and I made eye contact...he said, "I just don't know...what she likes." It breaks my heart, every year.
ENJOY your day with your family, friends, pets.

Well, I am looking forward to my annual week off from Countdown duties as we move from Christmas to New Year's Day.
A new thread will be launched then for Christmas 2008 and this thread is scheduled to be locked just before midnight on 12-31.

Well it wont be long now until we start our new countdown to Christmas 2008 boy are the years going fast. It was just the other day when everyone was worried about their computers crashing because of the new century and now boy is that a thing of the past. The older we get the faster time flies by. bye bye.
We have snow here, Mother Nature was a day late for that white Christmas. Boo but it sure is pretty. I do prefer it to stay in the mountains. We have snow on the ground and are nestled at the base of snow covered mountains all around our little town. Would make a pretty postcard.

I am awake and here, Bing my friend.
And I like your attitude (even if it did come out of a cup).
Well, here we are at Season day # 46.
Which means we have only 4 more 2007 Season days left but also means we are but 4 days away from the begining of our 2008 count and a whole new thread to work on and build!
Jeff has indicated we can keep the (locked) 2007 thread so that anyone can review it any time, but not post. That will keep it "pure" so to speak and give us a fixed final post count to show in the new 2008 thread.
It also keeps us focused ever to Christmas future!
Coolish here in Raleigh at this hour with the temp in the 40's.
We still need lots of rain and it is predicted for the next few days.
Well, have a Fabulous Friday and a most Wonderous Weekend. Don't forget to pick up some champaign and eggnog for New Years!

The only thing that will be locked is this particular (2007) thread but at the same time (Jan 1) the Christmas Countdown 2008 thread will be launched so our friendly visits will continue uninterrupted, with a new count!

Oh, almost forgot! Crownster! ....Better late than never I say. I'm going to post some pics on your Christmas Photos 2007 Thread. I took these awhile back, of my Christmas Hutch I keep all year long...enjoy. Here is one pic that I took when the sun shone in the old glass windows of the cabinet and it looks like a dream ( or nightmare, depending on how you look at it!! LOL/)

Jeepers creepers, Cedar! If it wasn't for that tiny tree, I'd have had nightmares for sure. You know when the toys wake up and take over the domicile. Eeek! Almost scared myself there. Yet, I'm glad I saw that picture, I used to write horror stories before I turned my mind to more pleasant Christmassy kinds of thoughts.

Nope. It's time to unveil my secret Christmas world . . . take a look inside my Christmas Joy slideshow. Just click on the snowman image below. I resized the images before I uploaded them and created the slideshow so dial-up users can enjoy it too.

Good Morning Everyone !
A Merry Christmas to all. I'm sorry I missed the end of the count down. I'm not sure when I'll be back on a regular basis. The Eagle family main computer suffered a major melt down (the SATA raid controler stopped working, so it needs a new mother board) and a wiring/router problem ended my net connection. So I'm reduced to parking in the Starbucks lot to use their connection.
Anyways, I'm on leave until 31Dec07, My son Matthew just got home from the Marine Corp, and our family is going to celibrate Christmas Eve . . . . . TODAY ! So from our perspective I'm getting here just in time. Time to go, I still have a couple of preasents to wrap.
I'm going in for a refill, while I'm here, anyone else need a refill?
PS - I'm thinking of replacing the main computer. Maybe going HP this time. Anyone got any suggestions ?
aaaarrrgggh the tree fell down and the lights broke
ive had to put it up again with no lights!
cool piccie xx

Ohhh no Sila! Sorry the lights broke~ I just brushed by my tree and all the needles went tinkling down. Guess it's time to say goodbye!
!MERRY CHRISTMAS! Iron Eagle!! Good to see you, have a wonderful time with your family today.

Hi Auntster! I Like those pictures you took! ...sorry my pic scared you...there are better, not so nightmarish ones on Crown's Christmas 2007 Photo thread.

We got nailed today! Lots of snow.

I am awake, my friend, and what a breathtaking photo!
I still say you missed your calling - you should have been a calendar photographer!
Beautiful parting shot for our 2007 Christmas Season.
Thanks for the plug of my Christmas Photos thread.
And thanks to all who contributed.
WARM here in Raleigh, with the temp close to 70 already.
(Maybe there is something to this global warming after all!)
At least much needed rain is still in the forecast - possibly 2 inches tomorrow.
Well, it's fun thinking of the start of the new year in less than 3 days but also sad, as that is the day we take down all of our decorations.
But cheer up! It just means that we but turn another page and begin our fun journey to Christmas Season 2008!
Have a Stupendous Saturday and I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start.
Even though Christmas has passed, keep that Christmas song, and the Season's spirit, with you.

~Thanks Crownster. My pleasure...and I'm still working on 'my calling'...it's NEVER to late to be what you want to be. In fact, I have a great idea for a 2008 calendar that includes large coffee beans and a tub. Don't ask. Snicker, snicker.
Yes folks, cheer up and onward we go to the land of shispering pine and Operas and another fun-filled year together!!

:hello: Howdy Hi, Iron Eagle - sorry about your comp. troubles, gosh if Binger's went down Starbucks would surely be the place they'd land to chat with us. Enjoy your second Christmas!
I'll likely be getting a laptop for my birthday this year, if not sooner. Think I'm going with Acer this time. This one is still working and has 3/4 of the memory left so I'll likely take it to work to use instead of the one I have there.
 So there I was trying to sleep last night when the wind was screaming behind me - sounded like Humpbacked Whales and images of angry toys danced in my head.
Sila how'd your tree fall over? Mine had a close call year before last, but that was simply due to a mis-step on my part. Maybe you can get some lights on sale if you head out soon.
We never had amazing deals around here, most items were only 50% off. Where did the 75% off items go? Huh? Where?

Exactly the same here, Bing - rainy, cold and gray.
And it's supposed to get colder as the day progresses.
But the rain is so needed here, it's worth it!
Yes, we have less than 2 days left to be within this thread but also less than 2 days to wait for the launch of Christmas Countdown 2008.
And just wait until you see how far we have already progressed toward our 2008 Season and how close we are to our first (300-day) milestone!
Have a Super Sunday, friends!
Try not to party too hard tomorrow - I want to see everyone here safe and sound to begin our 2008 count!
yup im excited to start the 2008 count!!

Yeah- the first milestone is a few weeks off- regretfully, I started thinking about taking it all down today- and I didn't do as much this year as in year's past. Hit BIG LOTS and bought the mega gallons/trillon container for the tree! Almost big enough to curl up in and take a nap... go ahead Crown!

Hi Ho! How was the last Sunday in 2007?
~Me too Bing, I did some major undecorating today, I felt numb..the worst part of my holiday season, when my trees get dragged out of the house. I kept the major tree up with the heirlooms and bubble lights...that will be de-nuded after the 1st. Always sad to say goodbye for another year, but HEY! you do what ya gotta do!
YABBA!!

Paus du lux boy is ready for his close up Mr. Demille...
I'm ready to take some things down too...Some years I enjoy Christmas much more so in July and August than I do in December... Seemed like we tried to jam three months worth of activities into six weeks of time...I never had the time to just sit on the couch, turn on the music and look at the tree...Until today that is...And I'm off tomorrow and Tuesday...A nice long weekend!!!
We had some sleet and snow earlier tonight but it seems to have all changed to rain...I was hoping for a little of the white stuff too...Oh well...If it snowed I'd have to get up and clean off my wife's car before she left for work anyway...
Enjoy the last day of the year guys...And then off to 2008 we go!!!

Good Morning Everyone!
I made a quick trip over to my internet connection at Starbuck's, so I could be the first to wish all of us a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It's 0140hrs here in Chicago. The building downtown still look great, and the neighborhood houses are all still lit beautifully. But soon I'll have to start my evening report as the lights soon begin to turn off . . . . . .

Well, it's almost time to put Guy Lombardo's "Auld Lang Syne" on the victrola and lift a cup.
2007 is nearly through.
It's been a great run. We nearly reached 2,000 posts and almost 20,000 views despite not starting the 2007 count thread here until late July.
Just think of how many our 2008 thread will receive!!
(I predict an all-time record!)
Thanks to all for being here this year and I look forward to seeing each and every one of you in our new 2008 countdown thread starting as soon as I can get it posted tomorrow.
I have already requested that Jeff make it a sticky like last year's.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Let me add my Happy New Year wishes as well!
This thread has been daily part of my life since we began it last July, and before that it was a daily part of my life at the now defunct TXP and before that it was a daily part of my life at Christmas.com...It's been a great run and will continue to be thanks to our friend Crown, and all of you who take part in this daily, weekly, monthly, yearly ritual.
The one thing I wanted to say was Thank You to all who share themselves and their love of the season, thank you for being my friends, thank you for laughing at my dumb jokes, thank you for being part of my life. It's strange to think that a group of people are part of my life and yet we've never met, but that is the truth, that is the fact!
So, a blessed New Year, a prosperous and healthy 2008 to all, and to all a good night!
