Hi (or Hi Again to all ex Christmas.com/TheXmasPlace members I have known for years)
I, like others, was lucky enough to receive Jay's post and relocate here following the demise of TheXmasPlace. (Actually, when I went to register here, I discovered that I had already done so at some time in the dim, distant past but completely forgotten! Put it down to a Senior Moment...)
We are beginng to get used to all this cyberspace-walking, us displaced persons from other failed forums, huh?
Anyway - some of you (I hope!) will remember me but for those who know me not, I am a writer (although it is not what I do for a living) who loves Christmas and is lucky enough to be married to her soul mate, with a wonderful son and lovely daughter-in-law. I count every day a blessing - particularly those fabulous, crisp, cosy ones that lead up to our favourite season of the year. I am an incurable optimist and firmly believe that THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT IS FOR LIFE, NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS!
