I think most every member here at MMC has that favorite Christmas movie(s), that they watch year after year, or all year for that matter. That wonderful cinematic peice of gold, that finds a special place in our hearts and stays with us through out the years. I know I do.
As Link Master for MMC, and "resident guru of Christmas out-there", I wanted to tell you all about ChristmasFlick (http://www.christmasflick.com), one of many new sites of the Merry Network.

Let me give you a brief history of the site. One day last year while chatting with Jeff Westover, he mentioned an idea he had of a Christmas movie database. We both agreed it would be an invaluable resource for the Christmas community. It was a great idea, and in September of 2006, became a reality.

Jeff officially announced it's launch in the October 31st, 2006 (http://www.merrynews.com/newsletters/103106.html) issue of the Merry News, where he failed to mention the site was his brainchild, and he in fact, is to thank for it's creation!

The site is growing everyday and features, 50+ movie listings, exclusive Christmas movie reviews written by MMC forum members, and up to date Christmas movie News via rss. We want to make Christmas Flick as user defined and friendly as we can. So, your all invited to surf on over sometime, and check it out. The site is for all you guys to enjoy. :D

We appreciate your feed back, and are also accepting Movie review submissions.
If your review is accepted it will be promoted here at the forums via RSS and given a permanent home at ChristmasFlick.
Instead of posting here, please PM or Email me for details or with your submissions.

I kept waiting for Patrick Stewart to say "Merry Christmas, make it so". But he never said it.

This was not my brainchild, Jingle, you're much too modest. CF is your brain child, I'm just green with jealousy and envy that I don't have time to produce such a necessary site.

I hope many here jump in to contribute.

Also, take note of the great way this site ties-in to the look of TalkChristmas.com (http://talkchristmas.com), a Christmas forum we rescued off the Internet scrap heap that Jinglebelle manages amongst all of her other busy duties. NICELY DONE, Jing.

Also note that as you contribute new reviews and they get posted, we'll be adding them to the feed so that each time a new one shows it, it automatically shows here in the forum. Nifty, eh?

I hope to do a few more reviews for you. (Just as soon as we put a copyright notice in the footer of that site...got to protect our creative rights!)

Jeff

Well, Jeff you planted the seed... :D

We can get a copyright notice on there with minimal effort, no problemo.
