Im pretty excited! For the first time ever I have been canning my own jams/preserves and in the last 2 days I have made 24 jars of Apricot Jam/Preserves to give out to friends and family... I still have to add some handstamped Christmas tags to them but wanted to share some of them now

This reminds me of being a kid. I didn't recognize it at the time but growing up in Central California put us in the middle of God's breadbasket and we canned everything from tomatoes to boysenberries. We canned so much I hated it. Pickles, peaches, apricots and every kind of jam available. Now I live in a desert and my wife is one of those who wants to do more canning but can't because we simply lack the ready supply of decent produce.
Enjoy! You've made me homesick.

Those look fantastic Jana.
Jam making is something I've never tried, though I'm told its nothing like the long, involved process it used to be. And no commercially made jam can touch good homemade.

Why? I used different ones...:?
These look great! I've only made freezer jam. I haven't tried canning yet. It might have something to do with the memory of my mom's homemade pickles. One year she decided to try canning pickles because we had so many little cucumbers in the garden. Her pickles ended up black. None of us were brave enough to try them.
